As the sun sets on the sinking wreck on what will come to be known as Bushnevism, let us say good bye to some of the reddest movers and shakers to ever take power in America (Yes Virginia, red is more than a state):

1) Irving Kristol, Trotskyist, at one time a card carrying member of the Communist party, Godfather of Neoconservatism, who took tactics out of the Communist play book and, for a while, successfully applied them to American politics.

2) Leo Strauss, who taught the concept of "Noble Lies" at the University of Chicago, and later made this Platonic concept, which was popularized by Machiavelli, and later used by such notables as Karl Marx, Vladimir Lenin, and Josef Stalin, a centerpiece of Republican political strategy.

3) William Kristol, son of Communist Irving Kristol, who proudly defined Neoconservatives as "Liberals who were mugged by reality". Truth is no Liberals were mugged by reality. Communists were mugged by a desire for power.

4) Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and other propagandists, who embraced Bushnevism, and sold it to everybody as "Conservatism".

5) Dick Cheney, who wrote in "Rebuilding America's Defenses" that America needed a "New Pearl Harbor", and when 911 gave him his opening, "went for it" with gusto, while calling those who were against what he was doing traitors. Truth is, if Cheney wanted to see a traitor, he should have looked in a mirror, and one would have been staring right back at him.

6) George W. Bush, worst President in US History, at one time a decent man, who was an excellent Governor of Texas, until lured by the Communists into becoming "their man". He became a modern Dorian Gray, and the price for selling his soul was enormous.

7) Tom Delay, Jack Abramoff, and other con men, who ate up Neoconservatism to the point where they laundered money in their attempts to create a permanent "Communist Majority" in America.

8) FOX News, the Moonie-owned Washington Times, Drudge, and other members of the media the GOP Propaganda Machine, which baited and switched the American people, while selling a bastardized form of Communism as Conservatism.

9) All those bankers, who screamed "free markets" out of one side of their mouths, while begging for Communistic government redistribution of the wealth out of the other side.

10) Finally, all those so-called American citizens, who saluted the flag, while at the same time, betraying America and American values, and who pushed, and to this day, continue to have the unmitigated gall to push a bastardized form of Communism as Conservatism, while calling true Goldwater Conservatives, who never left the Conservative cause, Liberals. I know of a flag more appropriate for them to salute. It has a hammer and sickle on it.

As your power wanes, and as you are forever cast out of the American mainstream, may Americans some day forget that you were ever our countrymen, and may God have mercy on your traitorous souls!! America has met the real enemy, and it is you. The last vestiges of Communism didn't die when the Berlin Wall came down. It died in America in 2008. Good riddance.

How do you see these guys setting into the sunset?

The Ax and Sticks would be more appropriate than the Hammer and Sickle IMO.

Lets hope your right

Ok, yeah, but don't you think 'communism' is a little hyperbolic?

Also I think we'll see plenty of Rush and Sean in the coming years. They're zenith may be yet to arrive.

So since Hannity and his ilk were calling Obama a communist does that makes him a conservative?

What does Bush have to do with Communism exactly? This entire thread is really strange...

I think the idea is that he is less conservative in action that he has historically implied with his words. And, of course, if you're not a conservative, you're a communist.

This Conservative does not believe that a person is a Communist because the are less conservative than I.

I do believe that makes them silly however.

And what do you call all of these bailouts and "stimulus packages"?

And what do you call all of these bailouts and "stimulus packages"?

Some people seem to think it is Conservatism because it was supported by people who had an "R" next to their name.

Fools they are. Whatever the GOP does is Conservative!

Sad things is, self proclaimed liberals and self proclaimed conservatives both think that.

The thread premise is retarded and lacking in any facts or a serious attempt to make a coherent argument.

As if Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity are going anywhere other than up in ratings and cash flow. :rofl

I have always said that Dan claims he has some conservatism yet enjoys sounding like a DNC mouthpiece using trite talking points laced with innuendo, hyperbole and distortions.

Dana doesn't know what the hell he's talking about, so don't worry about it.

As opposed to someone whose 90% of posts consist of one-liner hit and run personal attacks on other members? OK.

I will never understand that myself. WHAT are they thinking?

Any argument against the idiots that have been in power for the last 8 years are always somehow DNC talking points to you.

Drink kool-aid much?

Drank it? Hell, he freaking drowned in it.

Right, just because you don't understand them is not my problem. And they are certainly not all personal attacks. Everyone knows you're an unrealistic conservative who pounds on Bush day after day. You still haven't answered me; I asked you a couple of time who you voted for. No answer.

Unrealistic because he is a conservative who is disgusted with what bush has done to the conservative name? :doh

You still haven't answered me; I asked you a couple of time who you voted for. No answer.

I do not believe anyone is obligated to divulge that information.

I know him as real conservative who doesn't give in to the neocons.

The notion that they are arguments is quite laughable, but your ad hom has been noted.

Carry on, I look forward to more of your inspiring one liners containing little substance or intelligence.
