In her National Review article “When IVF Met MAHA,” (July 2025), Leah Libresco Sargeant questions President Trump’s rallying cry for free IVF (In Vitro Fertilization).

She argues, “The harder it is to marry and have children early in life, the more likely it is that couples will struggle to conceive later. A humane culture is ordered to the physical realities of women’s bodies. It does not view the shifting of births to later in life as neutral.”

If humans took measures to prevent whales or giraffes from getting pregnant when their bodies were ready, that would be considered madness and an offense against the natural world. But we think it’s ok to ignore Mother Nature and refuse to support human mothers who follow the rule of nature, which is to have children while still a teenager.

A teen is not emotionally or financially ready to care for a child, but you dont want to consider those facts. Her body is also not physically ready to carry a child a give birth either.

The ****?? Teens should not be bringing babies into the world. Abortion is the most responsible thing that a pregnant teen can do, and righties have taken that basic right from her in many states.

Seems that both birth control and feminism have caused this issue. I've heard of people marketing birth control to 13 year old girls as a way to clear up acne so essentially some women are on progesterone for 20+ years. I think the idea is to prevent birth.

The government is not preventing women from getting pregnant at any age. Women have the right to make their own choices regarding when they give birth. Conservatives need to stop with their obsession of controlling women's reproductive choices. Other people are allowed to make decisions that are central to their lives regardless of whether you disagree with them. As I shouldn't have to remind you, this is America.

The nature of women is to have free will. It's only when we suppress this free will, socially, educationally and economically do we see socities of teenage girls wedded and dependent on men who can provide them the social and economic status that society has denied to them directly. Also, women are typically fertile into their 30s and early 40s. Plenty of time for them to decide to have children when they're ready.

Seems like they care more about having nice skin than being someone's mother. There there.

Taking progesterone for clear skin is a ruse.
Stop getting medical information from TikTok.

Is that where you get it?
It's a ruse.

I'm not quite sure how to take it that when you think of teenage girls having sex your first thought is of them having sex with a predatory adult. Sleeping with other teenagers never crossed your mind?
Oh so no teenage girls ever been molested? I guess all those people in jail for it or just fake.

Wouldn't you want those teenage girls to be on birth control, in that case?
Pretty girls on birth control because they're going to be molested it's kind of messed up why don't we try and stop molesters from hurting them
The only thing worse than being a victim of rape is carrying your rapist's baby.
So rape all you want just keep the girls on birth control?

Seems kind of messed up.

I was talking about young girls being sexually abused did you seem to indicate that it didn't happen. Read your post history
No, don't be frail and tell me to look for it, quote me. We were discussing teen pregnancy and you said the bigger problem then were all the people molesting them as if all teen pregnancy was a result of molestation. I can quote you. See how that works when you're confident about your argument? You don't act too frail to present it. 😂

So it's bigger problem that they get pregnant did whose molesting them.
