Human trafficking is against human dignity and civil rights. Christians seeking to spread compassion and hope often help the efforts of governmental agencies trying to root out the perpetrators and free victims from this modern-day form of slavery.

7 Christian Groups Working to End Human Trafficking

While Christian organizations all over the world (at least I know for sure about Western Christianity) support humanistic values and promote equality, tolerance and human rights even the most prominent Muslim leaders look like they stuck somewhere in the past introducing ideas Western civilization has knows for decades already. It is time for us to understand Christianity in its present state is a marvelous gift to our society. I am not talking about faith, I am talking about ingrained social institutions we've got from our ancestors.
I am not saying Muslims are inferior to Christians and cannot adopt to ever-changing environment of the XXI century. I am just saying Muslim civilization is too reactionary and relies on the past too much. Mixing Christian and Muslim population isn't a good idea. Not only because it will upset The Clash of Civilizations's author Samuel Huntington but because it simply doesn't work that way.

Could have fooled me with the whole " Mixing Christian and Muslim population isn't a good idea" vile you posted later there, champ.

What would you define "human traficing" to mean?

How will I be able to go to a Lebanese restaurant, if they can no longer mix.

Do you want me to retell you the article in this thread, huh?

just pleasure me with a definition. It seemed to me there was no clear definition underliunderlying the article And that it included people that we used to applaud as heros, when they helped suppressed people fleeing horrible lives under terrible regimes.

My pleasure, sir: Let me google that for you

As i thought. You have never thought about the problem and probably didn't even realize the shift in treatmebtreatment of people doing more or less the same thing as before.

What's the point of your argument?

Dudes, human trafficking is hard fight since the cause is poverty. Even if theres a group of Buddha worshipers fighting it.
Poverty needs to be eradicated first before solving other problems. Its like asking a robber why he's robbing someone or a bank.

The point of the argument is hard to see, when you do not look at the definitions you are using. Human trafficking is a very negative word that does not do justice to most of the movements of populations going on. We thought the people in the Cold war doing essentially the same thing as one of the things we lump into the term "trafficking" were heroes.

It is also poverty. It can be dictators, religious martyrdom, political suppression, civil war, ethnic cleansing.... you name it.
