5 Things many Witnesses may come to regret sooner or later.


Those with the trinity doctrine ingrained into their psyche are the most hateful, bigoted, hypocritical Christians I have come across in my lifetime, fyi. I am not JW, nor am I a trinitarian or any of the thousands of denominations, non-denominations available in this world. I am simply a follower of Jesus the Christ and I profess to have the same God and Father as he does. I am not attempting to convert or condemn anyone on this forum or anywhere for that fact. I simply am here to speak my views and beliefs......and assuming that's why everyone else is here to do.

Trinitarians spend too much of their time condemning, chasing those who do not kowtow to their views.....why? For it does your beliefs a disservice, imo.....makes you seem like the religious leaders of Jesus' time. Surely you must know Jesus did not like them very much. Don't you know by now that I am not going to convert to trinitarianism?.....give it a rest.

I hate endless silly arguments over stoopid stuff, over and over and over again.....nothing but a huge waste of time. Here's where we stand:

You: believe three persons are the one true God.

Me: believe only the Father of Jesus is the one true God.

You: believe Jesus is God, part of a triune God.

Me: believe Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God.

You: believe Jesus has two natures.

Me: believe Jesus was a true human being as us.

You: believe Jesus is divine.

Me: believe the Father was 'in' Christ working mighty miracles through Christ, commanding Jesus the things to speak.



My main question is which Jesus died on the cross?.....or was it just a nature?.....trying to see more clearly your belief here.

Was it the human nature which died?......then I thought Jesus is God, so he really didn't die, huh?......inquiring minds want to know?

Just from my own personal experience, as I stated. I didn't say they are not Christians, as they do towards others. To them, by not believing in a triune God, you cannot even be considered a Christian. I don't feel that way towards them, just think their attitude sucks, big time, lol.

But to answer, yes, sure it was judgmental.

They've made a God after their own likeness calling him the "Godman" for goodness sakes. Stand indifferent to this ideology, get ready, for here comes the insults, accusations, all manner of wild imaginings to destroy your character, all in the name of this "Godman".

Back in the day, it was sanctioned by the government when they tortured, killed, and plundered all in the name of this "Godman" ----->and if it goes that way again, these (trinitarians) too will kill, steal, and do horrendous things for the sanctity of this idolatrous doctrine<-----bet your bottom dollar.
 

You're damn right, they will.......guaranteed. A trinitarian with the full backing of a government will most assuredly kill in the name of their triune God. They will even think to be doing God's service, just as they have in the past.......

ROFL, quoting verses of scripture in this light can cause a back and forth saga that would last centuries. The dude starts and OP to attack a religious group he disagrees, but mainly going after Daisy on this forum, who is a JW. All because she will not kowtow to the trinity. This is how they begin their attacks on others, with the spreading of gossip, misnomers, and attempts at discreditation.

Now you jump in with a held-onto post you cannot get over attempting to give it breath again, lol......why so lame?

I simply take it as a compliment...the world hated Jesus so we shouldn't expect anything less from the world today...the more things change, the more they stay the same...

I am confused…please clarify….it was the Jews that believed in only one God as you profess to do….connect the dots….
 

The early Church taught it, but the first Christians did not. Even before Paul died, he was having trouble with false teachers and the spirit of antichrist.....it didn't take long for true Christianity to be diluted, taken over by paganism and made into another gospel altogether.

This gentleman has done extensive research on the origin of the trinity and how it developed over a period of time...this is an exert from his studies...

I was a Trinitarian Christian for twenty-two years. Then I questioned it, did extremely in-depth research, and changed to believing the Bible only says there is one God, who is the Father, so that Jesus is Lord and Savior, but not God. After 28 years of research and writing, I published a book on it entitled The Restitution of Jesus Christ (2008).

While I was researching this subject, I was surprised to learn that the doctrine of the Trinity that we Christians know about did not come into existence until the late fourth century. That is significant information. Why? I had always been told that if you didn’t believe in the doctrine of the Trinity, and thus that Jesus is God, you were not a Christian. That is what almost all churches have taught for hundreds of years. But did the churches of the first, second, and third centuries teach that? No!

Then, what about all of those Christians in those early centuries who had never heard of the doctrine of the Trinity? Were they not Christians because they did not believe in it? If so, that doesn’t seem quite fair, now, does it?

The New Catholic Encyclopedia says, “The doctrine of the Holy Trinity is not taught [explicitly] in the [Old Testament]”, “The formulation ‘one God in three Persons’ was not solidly established [by a council]…prior to the end of the 4th century”. Similarly, Encyclopedia Encarta states: “The doctrine is not taught explicitly in the New Testament, where the word God almost invariably refers to the Father. […] The term trinitas was first used in the 2nd century, by the Latin theologian Tertullian, but the concept was developed in the course of the debates on the nature of Christ […]. In the 4th century, the doctrine was finally formulated.”[6] Encyclopædia Britannica says: “Neither the word Trinity nor the explicit doctrine appears in the New Testament, nor did Jesus and his followers intend to contradict the Shema in the Old Testament: “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord” (Deuteronomy 6:4). […] The doctrine developed gradually over several centuries and through many controversies. […] by the end of the 4th century, under the leadership of Basil of Caesarea, Gregory of Nyssa, and Gregory of Nazianzus (the Cappadocian Fathers), the doctrine of the Trinity took substantially the form it has maintained ever since.

Trinitarians also claim to have only one God, go figure. It was the religious leaders and Priests who had Jesus killed.....the religious leaders of his day.
