Not clear why we would want children housed with adults.
I am not seeing that as a wise policy.

I would also think it's probably against the law.

The OP news source used the term, "separated".

As I've mentioned before, there's no reason to assume - logically, credibly - that the young child's status has changed.

What is interesting now is that Flores is now in play. Will the trump administration ignore that settlement / agreement?

The OP also omitted to mention that they had both been ordered out of the country 3 years ago. That tells us both that the OP was quite short on relevant information.

And in your legal opinion (based, no doubt, on a Harvard Law education), why is Flores "in play?"

Nothing you've said here negates the fact the news article pointed out the father and son are "separated".

If you do your own research and discover a credible source's report that father and son are sharing a cell at the privatized for-profit prison in Texas, copy and paste the relevant excerpt(s) here. (Be sure to include appropriate link(s)).

I'll bet that your local Middle School teaches children how to do internet searches. Maybe they'll let you sit in, and then you can learn, for yourself, what's going on.

You might also find out if Federal law still prevents holding children in confinement with adults.
