A 1/2 percent higher, which for all practical purposes is about even.
For the year it is about the same as 2024 also. So again, complaining now is partisan hacking.

It is 2 points higher than 2024, it is BARELY going higher. The big bad inflation you all screamed about for 6 months - has not happened although you sure as hell wish it was.

So. How do you think think swing voters will vote? Based on the inflation rate not being really all that bad? Or based on not being able to put food on the table?

Think back to Nov. 2024 and you tell me. :)

Say anything you want, the harrowing, catastrophic inflation all of you foretold due to tariffs - never happened. Only reason you thought it was going to, was you were told to think that. Despite honest economist were saying the inflation rate would likely be minimal - but CNN/MSNBC don't employ honest economist.
 
We did not need this article to tell us what we already know, the common basket of goods and services is getting more expensive and there is no way MAGA Republicans can spin it otherwise.
