I don't really do lists nor make predictions. Part of my independence involves, 1) not making predictions four years out 2) relying on my base instincts in what I admire in a person.

I don't suggest Mallory McMorrow run for president, but when I saw this speech, it hit home on everything I value in a human being.



She's still in office and I've seen a handful of interviews since. She's not POTUS material that I can see. I know nothing of her economics nor other policy positions, but that speech was exemplary of my values.

A one-off well delivered speech? Perhaps, but that's not how I see it. She has something that's lacking in others, and whichever candidate seeks to win, getting a helping of that something would go a long way to earning my vote. I'd at least put them on a list. ;)

As to the mockery, I'm still working on that. 😆

I'm a registered Democrat, who leans Independent. You'll need people like me to win in Fall 2028. I never voted for Trump, so I'm the voter whom you need.

That's why.
 
The Dems aren’t gonna win another election ever again unless they learn to be more openly racist, bigoted, Christian nationalist, and anti-science. That’s just where the center of this country is these days.

AOC got into it with Homan in a Congressional hearing a few years ago, and she got absolutely obliterated. I don't image she's trying that again.

She has a lot of options: She can run for Schumer's seat in 2028, run for president, or run against Jeffries for House Dem Leader in 2026....she has a long future.

The point is there's an obvious glass ceiling on her political career. She's going to be Kamala Harris bad at debating. She once referred to the the branches of government as the presidency, the house, and the senate. She obviously knew the actual three, but she's not going to be quick on her feet.

I was listening to Josh Shapiro on Bill Maher the other night. He's pretty sharp. He and Vance might stop their debate to have coffee and smoke a cigar.

But the base of the Democratic Party, young lefty voters will not like his Israel stance. He's going to lose Dearborn, MI and Paterson, NJ.
