Why did Jackie Robinson get promoted to the Dodgers? Because of his measurable talent. It wasn't even affirmative action which i am fine with
It was because he was a superior player. He got promoted on merit. perhaps it was also breaking the "color barrier" -but that was secondary. If he couldn't excell, he would not have been promoted

To some whites, the question of a black persons right to exist will always be one of whether or not that black person is of value to them.
