9 out of 81. Doesn't sound like much though right?

But they are disproportionate numbers when compared to the overall population of Americans who use they/them pronouns.

This draws focus to a penchant for trans to be afoul of the law.

"The disproportionate numbers come amid growing awareness of transgender-inspired violence, which has in recent years included shootings."

It’s a they-tifada.

At least 9 of the 81 people, or 11 percent, arrested in connection with storming a Columbia University library Wednesday use “they/them” pronouns, a review of public records by the Washington Free Beacon shows.

That share is well above the 1.6 percent of Americans who identify as transgender or nonbinary, according to the Pew Research Center, and more than double the 5 percent of people who identify as transgender or nonbinary under 30.

The brood of agitators run the gamut from longtime professional protesters, to otherwise carefree writers and poets. Most have long histories steeped in transgender activism.

The group was part of a mob that raided and vandalized Butler Library, handed out pro-Hamas pamphlets, and injured two security officials. They were offered a chance to leave peacefully if they showed their identification, but the radicals refused and were arrested after a standoff.

Perhaps having been the victims of the Holocaust, transgendered people know a genocide when they see it. Never Again.
Keyword "perhaps"

More like, perhaps not!

I realize these kind of news stories are embarrassing for you.

Wonder why?

They should be embarrassing for you. You started two threads related to masculinity in like 30 minutes. The calls are coming from inside the house, VySky.

Hamartia. Arrow no where near the target. My oldest's partner is trans. I couldn't care less. They're happy, successful and in love. As a note, we're all Jewish. My son's partner was raised haredi, mostly in Israel. You would blush at how they feel about Netanyahu, Gaza, and the Israeli ethno-racists.
Wonder why?
Cuz a failure of basic critical thinking on the part of the op?

Are trans people subject to a genocide? I don't think any have actually been killed - maybeyou kno of such incidents.

The number of transgender threads you start make me think you kissed a transgendered person in the back corner of a bar once and it scarred you for life.

There were many victims of the Holocaust. Among the targets of the Nazis were transgendered people.

And you don't have to be a victim of genocide today to take 'Never Again' seriously. Israel has betrayed the Jewish people, hence why many of the protestors are actually Jewish. I would wager a higher percentage are Jewish than transgender. I wonder why the OP leaves that out.

Having used "they/them" pronouns in some contexts doesn't necessarily mean they're transgender, (especially given that most of the examples given referred to "he/they" or "she/they"). The transgender people I know specifically use conventional pronouns of their gender identity specifically because they don't want to attract attention to it.

Also, any (apparently) disproportionate rates in arrests relating to a specific incident doesn't say anything much about the general propensity of any defined group to be "afoul or the law", let alone to be guilty of any actual crimes. I could certainly see a subset of people who have a propensity to want to draw attention to themselves (including using unconventional pronouns) might also be more likely to be involved in this kind of protest but that isn't going to be unique to transgender people.

As I’ve said in other threads, I don’t like what Israel is doing to the Palestinians, but this topics begs a question: Do these trans protestors know how Hamas treats LGBTQ individuals in Gaza?

There's nothing new about transgender people being afoul of the law. Governments around the world have been criminalizing LGBT folk since long before any of us were born. It's only very recently that queer people have gained any kind of social acceptance, and it's a fragile thing, that some people are doing their very best to destroy.

There are approximately 1.6 million trans in the US(according to google search), so that means about 5 ten thousandths of a percent. SO much for your "penchant for trans to be afoul of the law". Best to learn to think for yourself instead of letting propaganda sources think for you.

Also, your fixation on trans people is showing again.

Yet another 'gives me a woody' thread.

Repetitive, old, boring.
Predictable.

You can almost guarantee when opening DP on any given morning that there will be some faux rage thread where @VySky is punching down at someone.

LGBT
“Woke”
“Left”

Today we got a two-fer.

One anti trans thread AND a thread about “masculinity”

The irony 😂🙄

Is this like a million dying from COVID is no big thing considering the numbers? Why do republicans have such a fascination with trans folks? Y'all want to cut millions off of Medicaid but complain about girls softball teams being beaten by a trans person. Great priorities y'all have in the GOP.

I'm curious, why do you post threads you know you will be verbally beaten up over? You do have a thing for tans folks.

What is the best Russian fishing reel?

Retarded leftists protesting on behalf of people that would kill them for their very existence...

Yep....pretty standard. Hell...why not...the liberals and leftists that support the mentally ill trans people advocate for their mutilation and sterilization and ultimately a path that leads to a 40% rate of suicidal ideation.............so...with friends like that...why NOT support the people that would toss you off a tall building in the glorious name of Allah.
