100% of Climate Scientists Agree that Global Warming Has Halted

The two are mutually exclusive, perhaps you don't understand?

Where... where is your argument? You checking out already?

Two peas in a pod, no argument but quite sure of their beliefs.

No, they are not, because I don't believe there's really any missing heat. That's why I restricted myself to saying the math would indicate it was somewhere.

Oct 8, 2014 - THE “missing heat” that would explain the more than decade-long pause in global average surface temperatures could not be found in the deep ocean, a NASA study has found. ... Electronic Evidence Specialist · More Info.

Yeah the deep ocean, 1/2 of it is in the upper layer.

I guess you haven't figured out what I am saying. I am saying I don't trust the GW hysterics because they all seem to be big government collectivists who use the alleged threat of GW to demand more government control over private property.

Of course you think this, you could say this about every issue, guns, wealth, environment, taxes. Should we do nothing and avoid anything involving government because you're afraid its all a conspiracy to defraud and control people?

its hard to get freedom back because the parasites who want more and more government are loathe to give it up. SO before we give anymore power to the government, we want absolute proof that there is a real problem and no other less intrusive alternative.

That doesn't make any sense. The energy imbalance shows there should be heat somewhere, some of it is in the ocean, the other part of it is currently unaccounted for. Saying "the math indicates it is somewhere" means that you believe there is heat somewhere but since we don't know where it is it is "missing heat". You are contradicting yourself.

The scientists say they have 95% confidence in agw, they also say we need to take action asap.

No. When I say "the math indicates it is somewhere" I mean only that. I leave open the possibility (and said so) that the math proceeds from a false premise and therefore is meaningless. In fact, given the divergence of observed phenomena from the math's prediction, I'd say the math itself is in serious question.

who is we and what action?

So you made the remark that what I said was ridiculous predicated on your analysis that you think its possible either way? That's ridiculous.

I could not resist: there's no warming but there's warming. Reminded me of Koestler's Darkness at Noon.

Apparently you have no qualms about making misleading statements.

The U.S. and the reduction of CO2 emission to manageable levels.

so we should be forced to suffer a competitive disadvantage compared to say China?

We're evil people...

it appears lots of our extreme environmentalists have some serious self loathing of their country. They feel guilty about America's greatness and want to knock it down a few notches. others tend to be corporate haters and think this nonsense will allow them to punish profitable major league businesses

Do these same individuals want employment opportunities for the citizens of this country? I would argue they could care less and think that we can continue rewarding sloth with sustenance...

Nut case Lyndon LaRouche made one good point when I heard his loony campaign for president speech in 1980: he noted that the environmentalist movement was mainly self-indulgent rich kids who wanted to deny the working class economic opportunities. i.e.. keeping their hiking trails pristine meaning working class loggers couldn't get good jobs
