What a slap in the face for those Neo-Conservative (Fascists) who predicted that the first things the Democrats would do would be to pull out all US troops from Iraq.
They gleefully labelled the Democrats as traitors, Liberal, Left wing and I do believe on at least one post I saw the word Communist directed at the Democrat Party.

TOT and NP in particular, how pleasant to see your views rubbished, seems quite appropriate as most of your remarks about the Dem's are rubbish.

You might eventually realize that because a person has a different viewpoint to the one you hold, that that person is not necessarily an enemy of the US, in fact Democracy is well served when differing viewpoints are freely permitted, actively encouraged and heeded.
The absence or the banning of differing viewpoints leads a country, any country down the road to Dictatorship or Communism or Socialism.

And meanwhile you have the future Chair of the Senate Armed Service Committee Carl Levin calling for a phased withdrawal to begin in no less than 4-6 months and the future Chair of the House Ways and Means Committee Charles Rangel saying he wants to cut the funding.

What do you expect from the leading apologetics on this site? You think they'd actually realize anything? They'd still be saying that there's no flooding in NO as long as the fault rests with Bushie. They'll still be the ones screaming there's nothing to look at with the meteor falling from the sky and put all the blame on Clinton even if it were 2046.
Ppl like them can only accept one viewpoint, their own. anyone else is always going to be the ones who are "siding with the enemy".

Henry Waxman's the bulldog. I want to see what he's gonna do!

Hay wake up and smell ****ing reality, the Dems are the cut and run party one guy does a party make you've got the future head of the Senate Armed Service Committee Carl Levin calling for withdrawal in four to six months, and you've got the future head of the House Ways and Means Committee Charles Rangel wanting to cut the funding for the war.

All I see from you as always is bla bla bla bla bla cut and run bla bla bla bla bla cut and run. What makes you think that the I'd pay any attention to the same apologetic bs that you spew day after day after day?

I'm not the one saying it that's your parties entire platform on Iraq.

Again, I'm not a democrat - liberal yes, but not a democrat as I do not subscribe to any political party.
Now as for the democrats "entire" platform, this thread seems to go against exactly what you say here.

And what about the anti-war, cut and run leftists that have been hollering "get out now!" for time immemorial?

What do THEY think of the Dems?

Oh TOT, truer words you have never before written, best you take your own words to heart!
Your quote:-The opinion of one guy does not a platform make.

Just checking in on this site to see how the righties are taking their medicine. Nice to know the ditto heads can still stick to their predictable lines.

This war was lost when it started. The "cut and run leftists" aren't the ones cutting and running; they are ending the fool's errand Bush launched us on over three years ago. The problem is that now the American public has smartened up and won't take it anymore. Too bad it took a few hundred billion dollars and a bunch of American lives (about the same that died on 911). Ohh yeah, I know you probably don't value Iraqi life as much, but you can't forget the tens of thousands of them that died too.

Don't blame the left for this mess. It looks like Bush is going to get the legacy I was expecting.

Well, a month after the Democrats skunked the Republicans 35 - 0, some are saying they're taking it with class (and most are), but the usual suspects are still whining and crying and predicting the ultimate demise of the United States.
You need to dig your underground shelters.
Stock them with supplies.
Learn the air raid drills at elementary school. (anybody here old enough to remember those days?)
They're coming to get us, we'll be fighting them in our very own streets and there'll be nuclear clouds over Hometown, USA.

Not sure how this adresses what I said.

And dont forget about the worst cut and run Democrat of them all - James Baker. :rofl

Baker is a realist from the old school it was him and his ilk that allowed the threat of Radical Islam to metastasis in the first place because survey says "it was in our national interests," to do so.

I'm more worried about the radical Christian mullah's!

You think Iraq had nothing to do with "national interests"?
This admin labeled Iraq as national interests - but only are now proved to have opened Pandora's box, exactly as the realists said it would and exactly the way the realists said would cause.
Sorry I'll take the realists over the overly ideologs that say all is swell any day.
