‘Right in the trash’: Texas ballot rejections soar, AP finds

You would be kind of wrong.
It's up to the states how they want to carry that out some make it a right while others do not.
Yes the states have the authority to write the laws that dictate whether your vote is kept Anonymous or not. That being said the state has the authority to require your signature be placed on your ballot which is exactly what I advocate for on mail in ballots.

But here's the real shocker, of course:

This is why republicans cannot be trusted to govern. They are not fundamentally suited to the idea of a representational republic.
Did they give the reasons for rejecting them ?

The you on the left should be on board with having a Full forensic Audit! To find out who the US Voters voted for and
not who's counting the ballots !

Which makes your statement false.

Just saying.

I would support simplifying the whole thing and making Election Day a federal holiday and requiring in person voting on the day. Exercise your right to vote in person or don’t. I don’t care about a laundry list of pathetic excuses for not putting your jelly bean in the jar. Eat it for all I care. Decisions are made by the people who show up.
Opinion noted and dismissed. I will never vote in person again.

Their intention from the start is to allow as few votes as possible. Demographic shift is edging the GOP out in Texas. Without vote supression, in a few years the state will be bluer than an Incel’s balls.

Are you saying unless it's a perfect system we should not use it; because that disqualifies all systems
Ahhh...Grasshopper. Let's apply this to voter fraud (which is exceedingly rare).

There is absolutely a reason why everyone should not use an unsecured system as a method of voting for their representatives and just because we make a few limited exceptions to those who are physically incapable of showing up in person does not mean we should extend that same shoddy method to everyone. I am open to extending mail in voting to everyone because I agree with making voting as convenient as possible to as many as possible provided we reform it so that it is more secured and less room for error. I think my position is fair and reasonable.
Can you document the extent of the errors that have actually occurred?

Ok I can compromise to it only being a signature match but to be clear are you saying that you would agree to the voter signing their ballot? Not the envelope but the actual ballot. Can we reach an agreement on that aspect?
no

I’ll do better than that. I’ll give you an example.

They caught her. How is that better than a peer-reviewed study? And you had to go back 9 years to conveniently find a black person. How about something more recent like the numerous republicans who have recently been caught?

The requirement is that either an SS number or a Driver license number be on the carrier envelope.
If there is a problem, there is the opportunity for the voter to fix it.

Despite all the pearl clutching here, nobody has said why this is such an unreasonable burden on people.

There is actually no reason what so ever. We know empirically, that voter fraud is statistically zero.

It's already secure.

Maybe more Democrats were not able to follow the very complex task of voting?
The task of voting was made more complex by Republicans on purpose so that those of lessor means and commitment to bureaucracy would have their right to vote disenfranchised by red tape. It has not resulted in any reduction of voter fraud, which was nearly nonexistent. That was only the pretend reason. It was done to make elections smaller and give more power to the rich and powerful.

Disenfranchising the less powerful, increasing the power of the rich, are things which only serve to increase wealth inequality and undermine the foundation of America.

Republicans have hurt America. Republicans need to be voted out by people who care about the longevity and quality of America.

Bad news for cheating democrats.

Yes, so difficult. Go to poll, give your name, vote. OMG!
