Yikes, as the extremism of the anti-IVF fetal personhood position becomes apparent to normal people, the more politically astute right wingers are backpedaling. But that’s leading to backlash from the nuts in their coalition that they’ve spent decades appeasing. What to do?!

‘License to kill’: Anti-abortion groups rage against the GOP
The anti-abortion movement is turning on Republican lawmakers who support bills to protect in vitro fertilization, accusing them of sanctioning murder.

As many politicians raced in recent weeks to get to the right side of public opinion on IVF, some of the country’s biggest and most influential anti-abortion groups are pushing back.
Other groups are going further, running ads against longstanding GOP allies that use the same graphic imagery — blood, babies and scalpels — they have long deployed to oppose Democrats and the abortion-rights movement.

The tension over IVF underscores a deepening divide as Republicans grapple with new political and policy consequences of passing laws declaring that life begins at conception. After marching in lockstep for decades against Roe v. Wade, conservatives are clashing in the post-Roe era over what it means to be “pro-life.”

And pro-choice wishes them well! The more plain it is the GOP wants women back in the Dark Ages, the more chance we have of waking up conservative women voters with consciences and brains.

The idiots created there own whip to flog themselves with . They argue that life begins at conception and cannot be killed. Yet now want ivf where several eggs are fertilised but only one used. The rest discarded. You could not get a more hypocritical bunch than the anti abortionists.

The anti-choicers are struggling to reckon with the logical conclusion to their shitty positions.

Turns out churning out empty rhetoric about being “pro-life” is easier and more politically palatable than forcing raped youngsters to give birth, endangering the lives of women experiencing complications, and banning IVF. No fun catching the car! Who would’ve guessed?

Barefoot and pregnant? That's just your hype.

Reality.

Yesterday: Sen. James Lankford (R-Okla.) blocked passage of a bill yesterday aimed at expanding access to in vitro fertilization and other family-building services for all veterans.

Seems like the anti-choice movement is finally realizing their draconian positions will never be embraced by the majority of the country.
