Not entirely shocking given CBS actions almost 20 years ago and how they shelved then edited Jeffrey Wigands, a tobacco whistle blower, interview out of the fear of Brown and Williamson suing them.

This is what happens when news agencies are consolidated and conglomerated. This is also what happens under a dictatorship when it’s the government threatening them.

What a daft comment, and not what he's saying at all. Then again, if you consider reporting that exposes things you may not want exposed, I could see how saying something like this makes "sense" to you.

The '60 Minutes' show is king of the one-sided story. Lying by omission is still lying.

I tire of the little Trump-supporting bitches who will spend time in this thread defending Trump or attacking the media for the most childish of reasons.

Get a life. Not even Trump wants this many toadies.

He can't get elected anymore. Toadies? You no longer matter.

He'd like all of the toadies to **** off now, please.

Put on your crappiest blue jeans and go do some gardening.

It's not entirely shocking that the left leaning biased news organizations like ABC, CBS, and MS(NBC), just to name a few, are finally getting their dues for election interference.

I laugh at the lefties who claim Trump has anything to do with this loser resigning.

Are yall claiming Trump is dictating to CBS how and what they can cover?

ReallY?

Hummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Walk me through it
Making sure the media only transmits information friendly to the government is a key goal in fascism. Lugenpresse, the nazis called oppositional media. Or in modern English parlance, "fake news."

But that was what Biden was doing, bif time

In July, a federal district court ruled that the administration must cease pressuring social media companies to suppress speech that the First Amendment protects. “If the allegations by plaintiffs are true,” the court wrote, “the present case arguably involves the most massive attack against free speech in United States’ history.”

Quit pouting.

Quit pouting.
“The right to free speech is one of our most treasured freedoms—and one of the most abused by[The Biden Junta] this administration,” said ADF Senior Counsel Travis Barham. “Rather than respecting and defending the First Amendment, government officials are unconstitutionally skirting it by pressuring tech giants to restrict opposing viewpoints. Americans don’t look to the White House or Silicon Valley to determine what is true, what is right, or what we can say. That’s not the role of government, and it certainly isn’t the role of Big Tech. We are urging the 5th Circuit to uphold the lower court ruling and protect freedom of speech.”

Does any Trump supporter have an IQ over 80?

Why are their brains always set to "Whataboutism?"

And why can't they analyze different situations?

Oh, right. The IQ thing.

Well you probably do something like Trump. Sue media that doesn't report how you like, threaten to take away broadcast licenses if they didn't report how you like, kick them out of the White House press pool if they don't report how you like....

"JustlikeBiden!" the Trump supporter typed without thinking.

That must be the most unthoughtful response I can imagine.
60 Minutes has done thousands of stories over the years. For every story they have done, they have multiple hours of footage. All of these stories end up being 20 minutes of television.
CBS would have had no problem getting the Trump lawsuit thrown out. The problem is they felt the Trump administration would have ensured the planned merger between parent company, Paramount Global's with Skydance Media would not happen.

No one doubts that Trump will wield his power in an unprecedented manner. It will take the U.S. decades to recover from the damage being done now both internally and internationally.
