The U.S. boycott remains strong. Why many Canadians are digging in their heels

Quite likely. We are after all neighbours. However there is going to be a lot of pain on both sides of the border before that happens. For no good reason.

Low Literacy Levels Among U.S. Adults Could Be Costing The Economy $2.2 Trillion A Year

Maybe. But Canada's Centre for Dyslexia claim that 50% of prison inmates and 80% of the homeless are dyslexic. Those are big numbers. Dyslexia has been studied by every university everywhere. However sadly this knowledge has not always ( or not often) reached the primary division of our local...

Your honest opinion about sex ed

Kids want to know about sex. We wanted to know about sex. Kids today want to know about sex. Waiting to teach sex ed until 12 is way to late. 60 years ago we learned from reading Peyton Place. Today its porn videos. Because kids want to know.

Your honest opinion about sex ed

Your honest opinion about sex ed

In Ontario sex ed begins in the primary grades with naming body parts, foot, elbow, penis, labia, rectum etc. There have been complaints about that taking a child's innocence. By people apparently confusing innocence with ignorance.

    Education in America

You are right. I forgot how little some states pay their teachers as opposed to Canadian provinces. But the premise is the same. No pay for work not done merely help in budgeting.

Do Trump supporters want to make Canada the 51st state?

Why not? Americans apparently enjoy doing without so all their taxes can go to support their mega military. Good for them. America had a trade surplus before 2020 and still does in the auto sector.

How we know democrats are full of crap

But even if we charge more to them, we are still going to screw them around because we can.

If you think removing Trump will solve everything, you're not comprehending the broader picture.

Unless his golden toilet prevents me from having at least an outdoor latrine.

Trump: high speed internet is "racist"

That will teach the hinterlands to always vote conservative. When people can depend on your vote, they will depend on your vote and give you nothing in return.

    Education in America

Its not paying teaching staff when they are not working. Most are salary. So instead of dividing that salary by 10, the school board divides the same salary by 12. And the teaching staff gets an easier to manage cheque every month. The hourly staff could by paid similarly.
