    Well that is exactly what Trump did with his consumption (tarrif) tax. Only the wealthy elite propose a consumption or flat tax. They have no empathy for the plight of the working man or the poor. The wealthy have spent a lot of money to get the tax code written to favor them.

    I would say your crime map includes metropolitan areas where our population is concentrated. We all know inner city poverty, gangs and the drug trade are concentrated in these areas. Perfect formula for high crime rates. Locals know the parts of their area to avoid.
