    I get the feeling from watching the reporting on Trump hush money trial that is lawyers really want him to lose this case.

    No, it’s more that they aren’t competent enough to win the case or winning the case would require such a degree of lying on their part that they would get disbarred. The prosecution has Trump’s own words to use against him. Any lawyer who can pass the bar would have told him to make a plea deal.
