I have that problem, even when talking to myself. When you're looking at a post, there's an option for "display mode." (I don't remember what the default is, so I don't know how you're seeing it.) The threaded mode makes it a lot easier to tell who is responding to whom. I try to get folks to use that mode because I find it so useful. I have too much time on my hands. That happens a lot in Alaska this time of year.
