George Zimmerman broke
There is no question our country has an unlimitedly strong central government.
The judge agreed to all demands of the prosecutor after the judge spend days in secret meeting the defense not allowed to attend. That demand including taking away every dollar any citizens had contributed to the defense – thus again eliminating any and all citizen imput as had been done in the government banning a grand jury of citizens deciding whether to bring charges against Zimmerman.
Total, raw government power. The judge openly raging insults at Zimmerman and bragging of listening in on supposed private conversations between Zimmerman and his lawyer, and declaring Zimmerman should have testified against his wife and shouted down his own lawyer in court – a true circus.
10 FBI agents who have convinced in secret, unrecorded meeting with witnesses to all 100% change their stories. All citizens excluded from participation. The police chief fired for not supporting prosecution. The local elected district attorney removed to eliminate any voter participation or review with a state political-appointee lawyer answerable to no one but politicians in closed doors instead. Unlimited financial resources.
Against the now destitute, unemployed Latino with no defense, investigator or living expenses left.
Of course, it will be argued that really the judge just wanted to impose an impossible $100,000 bond when it claimed GZ had no money – meaning all along the goal was destitution of Zimmerman – regardless of his economic situation.
I can not recall this corrupt a prosecution or such radical steps to exclude 100% all citizen participation in every way – from banning a grand jury to banning defense contributions to banning voter subsequent review.
Too bad this didn’t happen in China. Zimmerman might actually have at 10% fairness there.
But I guess this is what happens when the President announces you are the wrong race and you killed his surrogate son who is the right race. This is what happens when race-baiting politics controls the legal system.
