Zimmerman harrassed a co-worker with racist taunts

George Zimmerman Bullied Former Colleague, Complaint Says - Yahoo!

"These are some of the bully activities I have been facing that led me to be concerned about my work environment," he wrote in the one page complaint. The complaint accused Zimmerman of pressuring him to split deals with him, of repeatedly "impersonating me in a terrorist character," and mocked him constantly to earn the laughs of fellow workers.

In the letter, the colleague states, "Since I started working in CarMax Sanford, George has been dealing with me in an unprofessional manner and have mastered the art of emerging as the nice guy to others in order to make me look like the unsocial type and out of place."

This will all be mentioned at his trial, and will be used by the Prosecution to show what kind of person George really is.
 

Objection: Irrelevant. He isn't on trial for being a jerk. Next.....

a couple of things leapt out at me in reading this letter (which is now on its second cycle in this story):

we learn that the author of that letter was exhibiting negative performance at the time it was written
we learn that zimmerman is found to be the good guy and the author is recognized by his co-workers as socially awkward

really don't see how this would hurt zimmerman's case
but will also be surprised if the judge tolerates its admission; seems to have nothing to do with the matter that will go to trial
 
But bub, you don't understand. In Thunders world, ANYTHING this man did is relevant to the case. If he lied and said he wore size 11 shoes and wore 10.5 Thunder would be on the street corner yelling to lock up a lying murderer.

No, you are right. This has absolutely nothing to do with anything, and just like Thunders last few threads he started, has been quickly deemed irrelevant. At least its not a complete fabrication, and at least has truth to it. Relevant to the case: no. Completely false: Finally, no.

If all the prosecution has are these far out reaching situations that Thunder and Sharon have documented....this man will walk.

But even after all that the guy himself says that Zimmerman wasn't racist - only that he made jokes at his expense to get the approval of his co-workers.


Honestly - I don't know how to take that . . . to run someone into the ground on a racial level but to have that person still stand up for you and say you're not a racist.
 
It will be very interesting to see how the jury deals with this info.

Its logical to assume that they will use it to help establish GZ's mindset.

Has absolutely nothing to do with Martin being on top of Zim and pounding the back of Zim's head into the concrete.

Observed by witnesses and is completely consistent with Zim's lesions, Zim's clothes, etc.

Whats relevant is Zim's precise moment of fear of serious bodily harm

The defense only has to show that Zim's version is sufficiently plausible while, the prosecution has the enormous burden of disproving Zim's account​

Actually the number of calls over a period of years show nothing really. I mean I work security and see the same things called in at our 55+ condo all the time. From school kids to real criminals.

To be honest I see nothing wrong with this call log...

George wasn't physically disadvantaged.. and Trayvon didn't use lethal force or any weapons according to the investigators.

IIRC he was arrested because of his profiling Martin, if the kid was white would George have even been involved ?

Coworker incident might show that pattern of racial profiling, if the allegation was true/relevant.

Wonder if he picked on his schoolmates when he was younger?

I don't doubt that we will find out soon enough.
