Your Extinction.

Are you talking about the original Mad Max or the new one they made. I never saw the new one. Neither do I want to. From what I have seen, most of the time that they do a remake of an older movie, it sucks ass compared to the original.

Give it a go you may like it.
It's a fun filled ride that doesn't take itself even slightly seriously and all the action is old fashioned real special effects and not CGI so that's always a bonus.

I do agree that remakes often mangle the story but this remake is pretty decent.

From what you describe, it sounds like it sucks ass right from the get go. The original Mad Max was meant to be taken seriously. Because the downfall of humanity is a topic to be taken seriously.

The film has overwhelmingly positive reviews and it's not a serious statement about the end of the world it's a chase film with heavy action elements.

As I said the stunts are all done by stuntmen and real cars and are amazing and spectacular.
It has a guy playing a Guitar on the front of a truck that spits fire 10 feet.
It's not a deeply serious film.

I'm not surprised it got positive reviews. From doomsday cultists.

It's a bloody action film.
Not a serious documentary about the perils of our reliance on fossil fuels.

You may not know this but some people actually enjoy this thing they call fun.
Mad Max is a fun film about mad geezers driving about in monster cars and being bonkers.

That won’t make us go extinct. It just means that people like me will have to figure out how to make money off everybody else by purchasing land in locations that, decades from now, will be paradise as a result of climate change.
Hands off Canada!

What are you referring to? The Little Ice Age? That was nothing comparable to what human civilizations and life on earth face now
I was referring to the Extinction that @Peter claimed the UK survived during the Middle Ages. I’m not actually sure which one he is referring to.
