Based on what's been released so far...a very right-leaning conservative religious upbringing that did not support the country and perspectives that this young man encountered in real life...like seeing no reason to hate/discriminate against gays or trans people (seems the obvious example).

If he felt rejected by his family/that dogma or he if rejected them...those are powerful betrayals. It's very isolating. Perhaps that rejection...and that eye-opening into a more socially aware, tolerant, and kind left...drove him from the far-right conservative religious dogma.

I am really curious to know the specifics of the left wing ideology. I mean, is he a Marxist-Leninist? Was he a Bernie Bro? Or did he just not like his trans girlfriend being insulted by people like Charlie Kirk and decided to turn one of the foremost anti-trans bigots in the United States into a corpse?
