That's one lame response to Jesus dying on the cross due to hatred after I posted that it would be ironic if Jesus did return and died at our border.

So I thought about this some more. Considering Christian Theology, most of those coming to the border are Christians. If they carry Christ in their hearts, he is being imprisoned and dying with them at the border.

Or, it's entirely possible that Jesus Christ has already returned and is living among us (any country/continent) or was killed at our border, was killed in WWII, was killed in Ukraine, etc.

My guess is that if/when he returns it will be in some poor country in Africa. It will be another test (if it hasn't already happened).

Let's not be Rome/Pontius Pilate.

We need a two prong approach. We need humane settlements so that families can stay together while while their status is being determined. We need to provide large-scale support and medical Care. With this we need to increase the capacity and speed of our legal determination process.

Then we need to look at the countries of origination. We need to see what we can do to increase the capacity of their economic engines so that crime and relocation are not considered solutions to poverty.
