to Justice Amy Comey Barrett, Brett Kavanagh or Sam Alito and people are loudly and aggressively protesting on your street for weeks on end. What recourse do you have? DOJ isn't enforcing the law. The police aren't enforcing the law. When would it be your turn to take the law I to your hands. They are showing incredible restraint so far. Or is it that, like most of greater DC, they support the protest and would just as soon drive the justices out of the neighborhood. 🤔

the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

I feel for those people and I feel for the cops who have to still police the place after the protestors are gone and the neighborhood mad at them.

That's the price of liberty.

If I was a neighbor I would be driving a Ferrari, have a muscle car in my garage and wouldn't post on anonymous message boards.

With that being said, I would crank up my stereo full blast with my windows open playing the national Anthem and they would kneel and keep quite 😃

If you kneel during the National Anthem the right will boycott you.

I'd start selling pro abortion tshirts, blue hair dye, and avocado toast on my lawn. Never let an aggressive protest go to waste, eh?

Here's an idea, leave america if you are so distressed that nothing is working. You are saying these folks are breaking the law and no law enforcement is doing anything about it. I claim bullshit. This is the kind of lie that helps spread the idea you mention, when to take the law into your own hands. Neighbors protesting and you don't like it, just shoot them. Is that your solution since law enforcement is doing nothing? Maybe they aren't breaking any laws and you just don't like the idea of people who don't think like you voicing their opinions?

Free and unfettered speech has it's downside. I don't agree with protesting in front of their homes but contrary to the narrative on the right it is not illegal.

Would it be a legal gray area if the proud boys were outside Sotomayor's residence?

Take law into your own hand?

Exactly what law is not being inforced? The unwritten law of i want my sidewalk unused by anyone I dont personally OK?

Lol

As long as you don't move your speakers to the window faced outdoors, that would be ok in my town.
Outdoor speakers or speakers facing outside are not.

Will your audio put out decent sound at a decent level? Home audio is a hobby of mine. I could definitely, within the law, have the protesters listen to anything I choose.

I remember pay toilets in public places. All it ended up doing was giving people license to do things to that stall that they would never dream of doing anywhere else…..

Maybe adjust my business model. $20 fee $80 security deposit in case there is a "deposit" that goes awry. Lol

What choice do they have. If they do anything. They will face charges. The terrorists are protected.

Unless they are prohibiting free movement or disturbing the peace during reasonable hours they are SOL.

But I don't feel too bad about millionaires having to hear what the common folk have to say,

Well, if they are on the public footpath, not on private property and not breaking the law, their first amendment rights trump the annoyance that the SCJ's have to endure.

Because this is a rather ridiculous point, this has been the strategy of anti-abortion extremists for a very long time, they had to deal with that and not take the "law in their own hands" so I am not sure why you think that someone is showing restraint in violating the right to protest from pro-choice protestors? If these justices don't like it, well then it sucks to be them because they are not higher in rights than the women who wanted to go to a planned parenthood clinic or the staff of those clinics.

Nah not that good, when I posted it I was thinking about the US military blaring Barry Manilow and other obnoxious songs outside that one dictators house decades ago ( I forgot his name)

Tried to pick a like group. Not fair to the proud boys though

Hilarious, ever heard of George Tiller? David Gunn? John Britten? James Barrett? Shannon Lowley? Leanne Nichols? Barnett Slepian? Robert Sanderson? Just a few of the people pro-life groups murdered. Bombings, nail bombs, shootings, etc. etc. etc. So vandalism does not really compare to murders and actual bombing attacks.

And FYI I completely disapprove of any firebombings or vandalism and I hope the guilty people will be caught and charged/convicted. Violence is never the answer.

Protesting in front of someone's house isn't illegal as long as you aren't trespassing on their property.

So what law do you think the DOJ and police are not enforcing?
