I'm fairly certain that she knew perfectly well that "go to Nazi rallies" = "participate in Nazi rallies" and =/= "counter-protest a Nazi rally at its physical location".

I thought it was clear, and if it were another poster I might agree with you but I doubt Maggie would be dishonest about something like that. It's easy for me to say it's clear cause I know exactly what I meant. You know, if you look back at the civil rights era, activism was pretty crazy. They did risky, groundbreaking things. Remember when the black panthers used to arm themselves and go block government buildings? Yeah they were intimidating, but stuff rarely got violent. Now I look at these BLM protestors and they will trash entire towns just to get their own way.

I don't have an issue at all. If I thought that antifa had any political power, perhaps I would think differently. This obsession with Hitler vs. Stalin is irrelevant to me. I don't see a return of Nazism either, to be fair. However, when I see the white supremacists and nationalists and KKK folks wholeheartedly voting for and endorsing the party in power--and Conservatives embracing the same platform, essentially--then I see much more of a problem. The Communist party has zero influence in this country. They aren't getting their way at all. There is no antifa equivalent to building the wall, for example.

False relationships between people you disagree with and racist scumbags is a ****ty debate tactic and one that destroys any credibility you are trying to build.


there is not a rise in racism, there is a media "year of the shark" sensationalized #fakenews propaganda show to fool the gullible into thinking the 300 or so actual nazis are an actual threat. meanwhile you have ANTIFA trying to murder people and attacking ethnic people for the crime of not being left wingers.
