Chinese President Xi Jinping plans to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin during Moscow's Victory Day celebrations between May 7-10 and "sign a number of bilateral inter-governmental and inter-departmental documents" to strengthen Chinese-Russian relations, the Kremlin announced on May 4.
"The bilateral talks to be held during the visit will focus on the core aspects of further advancement of Russia-China relations of comprehensive partnership and strategic cooperation, as well as pressing matters on the international and regional agendas," a statement from the Kremlin read.

These two don't exactly look like they're rushing to be with Trump to end their respective wars, do they?

Rather - it seems both men preferred to get together with each other to,

"focus on the core aspects of further advancement of Russia-China relations of comprehensive partnership and strategic cooperation"

as well as,

"pressing matters on the international and regional agendas"

and of course,

"sign a number of bilateral inter-governmental and inter-departmental documents to strengthen Chinese-Russian relations"

--

What I don't see is,

"end the tariff war"

or,

"end the War with Ukraine"

what we need are more Russian sanctions....they have worked so well to curb the Ukraine war, and distance Russia and China from each other ;)

"enduring friendship" / the Shanghai Cooperation Organization / Arctic cooperation and war games such as Vostok 2018 -2013
have been the norm for over a decade

I'd much rather they get to work with Trump ending the Tariff & Ukrainian Wars.

I just got locked-out of an Alibaba purchase because the tariffs literally tripled in price. I kid you not.

I knew I should have moved on it earlier . . .

Trump’s trade war makes the most sense when you treat it as designed to strengthen China and Russia by weakening the United States.

The world is not fooled. Must of cost Xi a bunch of concession to have this mostly ceremonial meeting/agreement.

Trump has given away all leverage we had over China.

It never ends with him.

One faceplate after another and still his mob of unwashed cheer.

sure. But for Putin (his POV) a buffer zone from NATO expansion is imperative. Z looks at it the same -he can't give up any territory
my personal observation is Z is sucking upto Trump because he understands that's how you get on Trumps good graces.

Anyways...i see no path to peace. I just want us out of the equation
