WV Republican Party demands loyalty oath

Agree. Well put.

Agree. Well put.

I disagree with that assessment. I have heard this opinion before. Quite often it's used by bible-thumping zealots who are trying to justify their love of theocratic government.

The US is not now, nor has it ever been, a clerical state. The founding fathers DID NOT want a clerical state. I am sorry some people are having such a difficult time understanding this.

You didn't make any points. You towed the republican line and regurgitating the information that was brainwashed into you.

Moreover, I am aware of the Obama Administration being held in contempt for trying to keep big oil from destroying anymore coastline than they already had.

I am sorry you side with big oil and the destruction of the environment.

As usual...the liberal stance.

You have no response, so you talk about something else. In this case, you make assumptions about me, you place positions on me that I have not articulated and you try to excuse Obama for being in contempt of court.

Making up things about me is bad enough, but what's worse is excusing a violation of the law, as judged by a Court of Law...just because you think that violation is the right thing to do. It shows a distinct lack, on your part, for the rule of law.

And when added to your demand that the GOP be found in violation of an imaginary law...which you STILL decline to describe...it surrounds your attitude and posts with an incredible amount of irony.

The problem is, though, that nobody is trying to create a "clerical state". It wasn't happening in Adams' time...and it's not happening now.
