So what you are saying is that we are going to have a civil war because a whacked lady holding a sign says she got a phone? This is the future of 'merica:
I beg for the days when only people who had an investment in the country were allowed to vote. Land owners. Maybe we could modify that to allow medical professionals, non-union teachers, police, fire, and honorable military, but it won't ever happen. Equality[sup]TM[/sup] rules the day.
OBAMA'PHONE!!
I'm saying there won't be a civil war. There won't be a war because there won't be any resistance. Not from you, not from anyone. The token few who resist will pale in comparison to the base-level crime rate. You won't even be noticed. There won't be a civil war.So what you are saying is that we are going to have a civil war because a whacked lady holding a sign says she got a phone?
 You don't own your home. That's something you'll find out when America defaults on it's debt and the government seizes personal assets to pay for it. You may have some pretty paper with your name on it, but you don't own a damn thing.I guess I should agree with you on the voting thing since I own my home but nah Im not that selfish.
Obama'Phone!!!Yea know Im not seeing much difference between what you just said and the lady holding the sign.
Get real- at best they MIGHT get some of them first but give you soooo many more back.
Well of course there will not be a Civil War any time soon. But that is because there is a reason for one.I'm saying there won't be a civil war. I legally own my home your conspiracy theories dont change that fact over here in reality land. I dont mean to be rude but you should take a step back and listen to yourself that is how it sounds. You don't own your home. Confiscation Acts of 1861 and '62. Gold Confiscation Act of 1933. Eminent domain is a real bitch. The state ultimately holds your title, and they can revoke it at any time. You're just a chip on the table, the State can cash you in.I legally own my home...
Yeah more tough-talk. You're full of it. You won't pull the trigger. You know it, I know it. You won't do it. When the cop is there in the flesh, you'll puss out. When the NG shows up, you won't pull the trigger because if you do your whole family will die by the .50cal parked in the street. You won't do it. You'll hand in your guns to save them.
And no, it won't be me on the .50cal. I'll refuse the order and be in Fort Leavenworth with some buddies, but others will obey the order.
You won't do it.

Who has treasury bond?Exactly who are they going to sell the houses to once they take them all?
Who has treasury bond?
Uh that's exactly why. It has nothing to do with school shootings or public safety.Maybe thats why they want unarmed people.
There's more US dollars than can ever be printed. It's mostly virtual numbers, not actual money. But they are not redeemable in real estate. I wish they were though. Still gotta find some person place or thing to give you the Benjamins. They'll just print the money before they'd do something that stupid.
First, I don't think is a realistic outcome of the current gun control debate. But I have seen many claim that if the day did come, that gun owners would overwhelmingly comply and hand in their guns. I request that only people who either currently own a firearm or have in the past vote in the poll, but obviously all are welcome to post and discuss it.

You are correct that it is not a realistic outcome.
As for giving them up, I have no emotional attachment to any tool, nor do I depend on tools for safety from criminals, and while I might think banning my hammer would be silly and stupid, I'm not willing to do anything more than argue how stupid it would be to do. Any one who has lived any years at all has seen stupid laws.
And before anyone brings up the constitution, I do not believe our founding fathers intended what we see today with people and guns. I agree that the amendment prevents wholesale banishment of guns, so it won't happen, but this today, I don't believe, is what hey intended.
I need a good laugh
do you honestly believe that the founders wanted the federal government to have the power to prevent honest citizens from owning the same weapons that constables and civilian sheriffs carry?

Not exactly what I said. I said they wouldn't approve of the free flow of high powered weaponry today. How the amend, ent has been used and interpreted by your side of his issue.
