Of all the recent close presidential races, which one hurt you the most?

define 'recent". How far can we go back? Cause I would say Carter/Ford. But then again, Carter paved the way for the Reagan landslide.

Carter ford would be after JFK, so it would count. But, IIRC, that wasn't really close.

With Ginsburg back in the cancer ward, it is likely that the illegitimate one will get 3 SCOTUS picks. And that, in my book, is an American disaster.

Although, a far right Supreme Court may buffer the upcoming demographic shift somewhat. So, maybe it's a wash, in the long run.

2016 wasn't "close". Trump won 56% of electoral votes. And no bull**** about popular vote - it means nothing constitutionally.

Yea, the voices of the American people are irrelevant. The new motto of far right Republicans.

Gerrymandering is all you have left.

Trump is the worst president in American history. Trump is the only president to lose the election by that much.

Well i thought the dick and jr show was the worst presidential administration in my lifetime

But then along.came Rump

Kind of a tossup. Trump has made.a.lot.of.noise but i believe dick and jr did more real damage

Nope, the voices of the American people were expressed as defined in the Constitution. Funny think about all your whining about Gerrymandering is that the GOP got the power to redistrict because your heroes did such a piss-poor job the American people voted you out and turned the power over to the GOP. You did it to yourselves.

Fact is Trump lost "by that much" solely based on California. Without the huge majority in CA. He won pop vote of the other 49 states.

Sorry to pop so many of your balloons. :lamo

Were you confused about the post or did you just show your ass so you can feel better about yourself?

Sounds like you're pulling a "Biden" on us. Confused about "facts" and "truth", eh?

Are you still slobbering over the keyboard mah dude?
I can always tell when I have a lib cornered by the truth/facts - they fall back to childish mockery and insults.

Dude you responded to a post with knee jerk trump bragging even when Trump wasnt mentioned like you actually countered an argument when no argument was made :lamo

You haven't popped anything. The people of California are just as important as the people of every other state. He did not win the popular vote in 49 other states. You are lying in an attempt to distort reality.

It appears more. Several California counties had more voters than they had eligible voters. Here is a fact.
The entire state had a registration rate of 101% of age-eligible citizens. Very odd when nationally only about 62% of eligible voters are registered. Even odder only 58.1% of the eligible voters voted nationally while in some California counties as much as 138% of all eligible voters voted.

Most of that doesn't matter.

This would.

while in some California counties as much as 138% of all eligible voters voted.

Prove that.

You are playing silly games. Unlike most states California automatically registers citizens who get a driver's license. That alone accounts for the much higher rate compared to other states. Nothing illegal or sinister there.

Several counties across the country have this same problem... many Republicant's whined about certain eastern states having 'over-voting'... turns out there is a much larger percentage of college students take up residency in the county their are going to school in. There was a YUGE upset when the students live there for a few years and vote in that county.

Just an FYI, many states don't clean the voter rolls and some do so to eligible voters. Oklahoma doesn't routinely clean their rolls, but the conservative Judicial Watch isn't worried about us. Southern states have these issues- surprisingly in urban areas. Colorado's former GOP leader, Steve Curtis was charged with voter fraud, North Carolina had a Conservative operative charged with voter fraud, Texas tried to claim thousands voted illegally only to find out it was over decades and in many cases a simple case of moving voters or changing polling places....

Just to be sure- has there been any finding or charges of voter fraud in this California??? :peace

I guess you will have to tell me how 138% of eligible voters voting can be anything but fraud.

That isn't what you said.

This is what you said.

while in some California counties as much as 138% of all eligible voters voted.

It doesn't matter how many people are registered and then moved. They aren't voting there. They aren't voting twice.

Show me proof of your claim that 138% of eligible voters voted.

Hillary was considered a shoe -in and it was a tremendous loss for the democrat party. Their supporters haven't rebounded yet.

Winning three key states by less than 100,000 votes combined is close. Who you bull****ting; yourself?

If those states go different, he loses by nearly the same number of electoral votes he won by. Sheesh.

Trump squeaked in through a loophole. If that ever puts a Democrat in the White House all you rightists will forget the word 'constitution' and howl like Trump did last time it happened.
Remember this?

"The electoral college is a disaster for a democracy."

Or this?

"The phoney electoral college made a laughing stock out of our nation,”
