Women protest Northern Ireland abortion ban by handing themselves over to police
A few women in Northern Ireland have consumed abortion pills and subsequently turned themselves in. Is this civil disobedience relevant to abortion in the UK?
The women are protesting the arrest of a young woman (19). What does this mean for women of all ages, and how should the state address young people on the legality of the decisions they are making?
The state "should address young people on the legality of the decisions they are making" by staying out of the personal reproductive decisions of those young women.
They should be executed.
Let me rephrase: How can the community guide the autonomous decision making of young people who are at a developmental disadvantage? There is more than just a choice at stake, if there are long term consequences.

What kids? I see no kids. I see young women taking an unneeded pill and breaking a draconian law.
Awe, come on. What you see are young women that cannot keep their lust under control.
Not really surprised, since it's coming from you. They should be executed.

People tend to have sex. It's kind of a commonplace thing.Awe, come on. What you see are young women that cannot keep their lust under control.
You need to read the OP. And damp down your lust hallucination.:3oops:

And that's why they should have safe sex, or they should take some birth control pills or just get an abortion. But it the case of Northern Ireland abortion is banned, so I guess they have no other choice but to go somewhere like the UK to get an abortion. And, when they do, they know they might get pregnant and have or kill a pre-born child. That is the risk they take.

"How can the community guide the autonomous decision making of young people....."
Do you realize that is an oxymoron?
Should condoms and other contraceptive measures be removed as well?
I disagree with people who call for vasectomies as a necessary evil to prevent pregnancy. A vasectomy is a surgical procedure which is far more rare than sex itself. There are risks with having a vasectomy, but the fact is that it is both a physical and financial liability. As far as I know, birth control pills only mitigate symptoms of menarche.

WHAT?????
Sorry, I should have been clear that when I was speaking about the risks of contraceptive measures, I was referring to the health risks of ingesting birth control pharmaceuticals.
You mean they got lustlessly pregnant or that they are having abortions without being pregnant?
