From the Article:

While every person has unique reasons for seeking an abortion, researchers have found that those who've had the procedure report a number of common factors that influenced their decision. Chief among them: financial concerns.
Other top issues that influence this choice are related to not being prepared to be a parent and the relationship with one's partner.
Reasons for Abortions%
Not financially prepared40%
Not a good time36%
Issues with partner31%
Need to focus on other children29%
Interferes with future plans20%
Not emotionally or mentally prepared19%
Health issue12%
Unable to provide a “good” life12%
Not independent or mature enough7%
Influence from family or friends5%
Don’t want children3%

These findings are the result of a five-year survey of people who have had at least one abortion and were asked to give reasons they chose to terminate their pregnancy.
It's important to remember, however, that a wide range of factors affect the decision to have an abortion. These include very personal issues that cannot easily be understood by others or grouped into general categories.
This article looks at common reasons for abortions and important related considerations.

The reasons are discussed in more detail in the article. But they are all good reasons why women might choose to have an abortion and why they should if they want. There's certainly no rational or legal reason to deny them that choice or restrict abortion.

It's just crazy how "not financially prepared" is the number one reason and most likely the same person who wants to force that person to have a baby is the same person who will bitch about that baby getting SNAP, WIC, medicaid, Section 8, TANF, Child Care Subsidy Program, etc..... because once the baby is born, **** it.

Women should have abortions if they want. Here's why:

of course they should because they have rights and freedoms, arent second class citzens and should not be treated as a lesser
i dont need any list of reasons

its no coincidence tha t the vast majority of first world countries with governments based on individual rights and freedoms have laws that are prochoice
and typical the places that do not, are dictatorships, communists and or theorcaricies etc and do not have governments based on individual rights and freedom

the RvW limits were just fine and they will be back eventually

If the unborn aren't human beings, kill them at your leisure. If they are, then nothing in the OPs list justifies killing them.

Just remember you want them to live and you are going to end up paying for their survival - one way or another. If that's the way you want it, so be it. 🤷‍♀️

You can say to cut off all the social programs but I am pretty sure when that little unwanted kid who never had enough in life turns to crime, you will be one to say "lock them up" and still end up paying for them.

It's just crazy
It isn't crazy. It's just evil. It isn't some paradox or contradiction in their own internal logic. Most people that advocate for cutting programs like food stamps and for stricter abortion laws know exactly what outcomes they are creating. Reasoning varies between conservative political groups but by far the most common reason is they believe people should be punished for having sex outside of marriage. They want the social consequences for sex outside of marriage to be as high as possible.

Thanks for your approval. They are also not persons.
If they are, then nothing in the OPs list justifies killing them.
Says who? The provided reasons perfectly justify it, not that justification is required if a woman wants an abortion.

I tend to agree.

Sometimes I wonder. They seem quite tunnel visioned on abortion and see nothing outside of abortion itself, never mind the reasons or circumstances women are or may find themselves in as a result. Basically, they don't care about anything except stopping abortion.

No, I would say they think women should be punished.
They want the social consequences for sex outside of marriage to be as high as possible.
Especially for the woman.

This is a good list. Thank you.

This list helps us to reach ways to prevent abortion by eliminating the things that CAUSE women to choose it.

However---All of these excuses , except health, are VERY poor reasons IMO to kill an unborn........

Oh Yeah. Your words are Gold. Preach it sister! :)

Restricting abortion or preventing women from obtaining abortion only exacerbates those problems. It seems many do not seem to understand that.
However---All of these excuses , except health, are VERY poor reasons IMO to kill an unborn........
Irrelevant. They are valid reasons and good enough for the woman selecting it. Her reason/s are the only ones that matter.

all of those reasons could apply after birth too - why stop at birth ?
Because it's about abortion. Once birth occurs, abortion becomes a moot point. But the woman faces the ramifications of dealing with child rearing, especially if she is not ready.

unless you value the rights and freedoms of the woman
the one that has that life "inside" of her, then its 100% justified

otherwise you see the woman as a lesser
which i do not

Well…because the topic is abortion.

Abortion is a medical procedure that ends a pregnancy.

There is no “after birth” as a part of that topic because then you are no longer dealing with a pregnancy.

Do try to keep up.

the reason's listed apply to born or not born

seem's logical a woman should have the right to get out of having to care for a child at any point for all the reasons listed - right ?

Because it's about abortion. Once birth occurs, abortion becomes a moot point. But the woman faces the ramifications of dealing with child rearing, especially if she is not ready.

all the reasons you listed still remains though

abortion is killing the life that a woman doesn't want to deal with - why stop at birth ?

like you said, the ramifications are there - why not allow the woman to choose death for the born too ?

if its a horrible thing to do after birth ... its also a horrible thing to do BEFORE birth is the point and ya'll see it

all of those reasons could apply after birth too - why stop at birth ?
basic common sense and how rights, freedoms and laws work LMAO

Just remember you want them to live and you are going to end up paying for their survival - one way or another. If that's the way you want it, so be it. 🤷‍♀️

You don't want it that way? You'd prefer death to expense?

You can say to cut off all the social programs but I am pretty sure when that little unwanted kid who never had enough in life turns to crime, you will be one to say "lock them up" and still end up paying for them.

I'll pay it. Better alive than dead. Yours is a ghastly argument.

Thanks for your approval. They are also not persons.

Same old arguments. Neither were black people once.

Says who? The provided reasons perfectly justify it, not that justification is required if a woman wants an abortion.

Well, says everyone except for Nazis, slavers, and those who advocate for abortion.

unless you value the rights and freedoms of the woman
the one that has that life "inside" of her, then its 100% justified.

Look I mean if you're going to admit that it's okay to deliberately kill innocent human beings then fine. I have no way of convincing you otherwise. My argument is a non sequitur if we can't at least agree that murder is wrong.

Same old arguments. Neither were black people once.

Well, says everyone except for Nazis, slavers, and those who advocate for abortion.
gits so cringe everytime somebody tries to compare this to slavery, good god its avile comparason
first off treating the woman as a lesser and forcing her to risk hewr life and health against her will is more like slavery than abortion and second the reality is they are nothing alike

its beyond stupid and offense to me as a minority to claim otherwise
abortion is about two lives and one resides inside another

again theres a reason the vast majority of first world countries with governments based on individual rights and freedoms have laws that are prochoice
and typical the places that do not, are dictatorships, communists and or theorcaricies etc and do not have governments based on individual rights and freedom

its because the foprmer does not see the wqoman as a lesser
