There are 6 power conferences, as they are called, in college sports. These are the common names we hear everyday. USC, UNC, Duke, Alabama, Michigan...

A total of 65 schools.

Of these 65 schools, only 6 have Athletics Directors that are women. 3 of which are in one conference, the ACC. (a more progressive group of schools than the SEC or Big 10 or Big 12. )

Is this discrimination? Is this to be expected as sports are male dominated?

How do you feel about this?
