The communications director for the Internet giant that owns popular websites like Match.com, Dictionary.com, and Vimeo has been fired over "hateful statements" in a tweet that came from her account.
The tweet Friday from the account of Justine Sacco read: "Going to Africa. Hope I don't get AIDS. Just kidding. I'm white!"
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.

The link doesn't work.
As Twitter observers parsed through her public posts, many were disturbed by her previous messages. ("I had a sex dream about an autistic kid last night," she once wrote.)
People have traded in their sense of humor for fake outrage.
Those damn PC liberals walking all over freedom of speech!
Are you going to tell me that you find that tweet funny, and not racist?
Makes you wonder how someone like that got to be a Public Relation Executive.

The bottom line is that in the real world, asinine comments can cost one their job or a black eye if asinine comments are said on the street to the wrong person. But by all means say what you wan't whenever and wherever you wan't
Were you at that Klan meeting in Delaware?Funny as hell. Nothing racist about it. Too bad she didn't say "sure don't want to end up in a pot of boiling water".
Yea, its called the First Amendment. Look it up. Also look up growing up and getting a thick skin.

I live in Florida why would I ever bother going to a place like Delaware? And I doubt you would know the Klan out side of what you saw on Oh Brother. Were you at that Klan meeting in Delaware?
Don't be jealous. She will probably get another job by weeks end.
Her and the Duck Dynasty dude can get a reality show together about searching for a new job.

It just looks like a joke to me.
Unfortunately I've known a few white supremacists in my day. They're all worthless garbage.I live in Florida why would I ever bother going to a place like Delaware? And I doubt you would know the Klan out side of what you saw on Oh Brother.
Enjoy that first amendment, just don't be shocked when you get jacked on the street for saying the wrong thing to the wrong person. A little common sense and courtesy goes a long way.Yea, its called the First Amendment. Look it up. Also look up growing up and getting a thick skin.
