With ZERO evidence, Trump is already inciting more political violence with his reckless and shameful accusations regarding Kirk's death

Trump is doing this for essentially two reasons:
1. It is simply how Trump operates. Many in Trump's first administration left because of his divisive tendencies. Additionally, many former Trump employees have stated that they left their jobs over Trump's divisive tactics and tendencies.

2. Creating controvery over inflamatory remarks regarding Kirk's death has given Trump EXACTLY the diversion he needs from his mounting Epstein problems.

Epstein problems or not. Trump cannot help himself. Any bit of decorum or self-moderation is nonexistent with Trump. But yeah, whatever shit happens seems to play in his favor enough for the followers.

Any bit of class, character, self-respect or basic humanity is non existent with Trump.
Sadly, I find myself wondering what kind of people his DP supporters are in real life? Are they the same type of disgusting individual that Trump is? Would they sit idly by while Trump raped their under-aged daughters? I would like to think that the answer would be a resounding "Hell No", but I see enough blind allegiance to Trump here on DP that I honesty don't know the answer.

Here is the thing folks: There will be folks on debate forums and social media hoping retribution will be coming against the left. Pick any target. Payback is expected. HOWEVER................
Those on debate forums or social media who even mildly suggest this will sit at home in their comfy chairs behind their computer screens and hope SOMEONE ELSE will do the dirty work for them, because internet warriors are all talk.

Close, Trump likes violence... so long as it is aimed at the right group.
I think that most cowards like Trump enjoy violence from a safe distance. Trump is far too gutless himself to ever participate.
I remember Trump telling the idiots on Jan. 6th. that he was going to walk to the Capitol with them. Instead, he watched the violence unfold from a very safe distance.

It is deliberate. Trump has no problem inciting violent behavior if it meets his political and personal goals. The man has no conscience and no moral compass. I don't understand how his supporters can't see it unless perhaps it fits in with their own thinking. It's too bad he didn't get the message when the four past Presidents spoke of this tragedy.

.......and seemingly enjoyed it . He certainly didn't act to stop it.

"Old men talking and young men dying," there are few better lessons from world history.

There has not even been a funeral for Kirk, have not even found the shooter yet, and Trump is already appealing to vilification and passive calls for his flock to do something about it.

Trump's only good at two things. And one of them is creating chaos. So much chaos that people get tired and give up.

So all you sane people make sure you keep yourselves mentally and physically healthy. Exercise and get away from the news as much as you can so you can stay fresh. The midterms are right around the corner.

I give followers (whatever extreme) the benefit of the doubt. It seems genetically, most people need a messianic figure to follow. They see a partial thread of what they experience or feel and adopt the rest with little hesitation. Yes, ala Hitler, Mussolini, Farakan, Jim Jones, etc.

Sadly yes. It's a built-in human reaction that only self-awareness can defeat.

MAGA's wouldn't have voted for the past four presidents. As you stated, Trump's inciting of violence has a specific target and with a specific purpose.
Trump can whip his ignorant base into a frenzy just like a wrestler does at a WWE match with scripted attacks directed at the crowd.

Republican in the Senate knew how divisive and dangerous Trump was. Still they allowed him to fill his second Cabinet with sycophants. So there are neither Republicans in his Cabinet nor in the Congress that will speak out against Trump's hateful rethoritic that incites violence.

It's hard for me to watch a Maga try and destroy our democracy with "blind allegiance" to a aspiring dictator like Trump and be as understanding as you are. That said, you are to be commended for your thoughtful insight.

I can only imagine how ashamed their children must be to watch their parents sacrifice their own self-respect to "service" Trump.

While I believe he hopes it can be a diversion, I seriously doubt it will work. Epstein is not going away.

Trump won’t let any disaster, calamity or crime go to waste if it can be of service to him in distracting from the Epstein files.

I've often wondered that too. I believe the majority of them are just playing games. They are full of fake outrage all to own the libs. There is just no way that so many people can be truly that deplorable.

I'm sure a few can.

Bravo. You've articulated the broader question that pretty much every liberal I know has wrestled with since the advent of this obese clown.

Can we sit down at the same table and still find something "good" about these acolyites? It's getting increasingly challenging.

A big problem is that there are to little hope in the right wing echo chamber. That for example discussion about economic policies that benefit working and middle class families, rural communities and small businesses goes against the interests of the oligarchs. While the oligarchs have no problem with hateful, divisive and violent rethoritic that help to distract people from the implementation of economic policies that benefit the economic elite at the expense of working and middle class families.

I'm an atheist and I sure as hell don't need a messianic figure to follow.
