With eye on 2016, Jeb Bush resigns from all boards

So what? We have a no name, unknown, bottom tier in the WH. How's that working out?

Sad reality is that having had a dad and a brother as president is the absolutely stoopidest idea to reject a candidate and living proof that progressives never bother to look beyond the latest White House talking point, which is already "old news"

I suppose by your logic, having had a husband as president is bad too and you won't be supporting Hillary for that reason.

Or is it that you simply hate anything Bush after listening and spewing "it's Bush's fault" for so long you believe **** is rain

exactly the same as the previous guy, actually, the power elite is fooling you to think there is any difference between them,

I personally think we can do better than both bush and clinton families myself. Obama is simply Bush III and you are being duped.

J B is clearly more qualified to run a nation than B O has ever been, or HC for that matter.
No, I didn't and wouldn't vote for either, but I hope most of us are not so shallow as to vote on hype or name recognition rather than qualifications or something of substance.

What makes him "more qualified"?

Call me a cynic, but voting for the lesser of two evils is why we have the government we deserve.

Jeb bush increased florida's budget by 27% during his term (that's 2009).
Supports Affirmative action
Supported the bank bailouts
Supports corporate welfare
More money for the war on drugs
Pro common core

IS this the small government replublican you all want as your guy?

Of course I'm the one being duped, here in the Great White North where the media has a vested interest in duping me stronger than the US White House and it's puppets in the MSM. Of course I am totally fooled by Republican political scientists and columnists who also have a vested interest in fooling me. In fact, Canada itself, a frozen wasteland of socialism is hoodwinked into ensuring that progressives NEVER get into the White House. And, it is of course only natural that this supporter of universal health care, gay rights, etc. would blindly adopt the meme's of the US RIGHT WING.

Do me a favor...list five areas of policy on which you reject Jeb Bush as a potential president. Was it education? Health? Are you even aware of his record?

Perhaps I did not make my case. No, I do not want him as "my guy". But it is not because of his last name.

It is pretty crazy thinking that we have to choose between a fat rich old ugly guy:

and then a fat rich old ugly lady:

and the worst part is, DR.NOELLE WILL HAVE ACCESS TO WHITE HOUSE DOCTORS ON 24/7 CALL!!!! OMGGGGGGGG!!!!!! XD

Actually, Jeb wouldn't be a bad choice. He is not a crazy. In fact, he is very pragmatic, much like his brother George was, while governor of Texas, and before he got duped by the Neocons when running for president. If not for the Neocons, George's presidency would have been much different.

I'd vote for Jeb.

It would be interesting if that issue came back as a scandal. I think Jeb is not going to win. I feel sorry for him for even running in the first place.

Jeb Bush should have been in prison for large scale electoral tampering for the last fourteen years. You want to really talk about election fraud? Jeb Bush is the face of that crime.

At least their names are known.

Source?

I hope that neither Bush or Clinton will be their respective parties nominee. The difference between the two is I think Clinton wouldn't be that bad, politically, for the Democrats whereas the next Bush would not be smart for the Republicans. Unless of course the GOP would like to talk about Iraq and Katrina and Iraq and financial meltdown and Iraq and incompetence every single day. For months.

Ms Clinton would not only run on her husbands accomplishments, but benefit from Bill stumping on her behalf. However it is difficult to imagine George W. having any kind of real presence on the campaign trail. Jeb would probably have to throw his brother completely under the bus eventually and hopefully driving the family in two camps before losing.

The price you pay.

I want it come to back as a large pile of indictments and a very long prison sentence. Like torture, this kind of thing will only stop if someone who would be considered untouchable pays, and pays dearly for it.

I know that denial is par for the course, but how do you not already know this? Either way, here's the actual information.

Jeb Bush’s secret weapon - Salon.com

OnPolitics (washingtonpost.com)

Thousands of voters, the vast majority of whom would have voted against his brother, were denied the right to vote in the 2000 presidential election by their governor. The evidence is clear. It's too late to do anything about 2000, but Jeb should be paying for his crime.

I suppose we should believe you since socialists are the experts at election fraud. But then socialists are also expert liars, so I guess I'll just laugh this off.

I agree. George W. Bush never publicly endorses anybody either, so it would be interesting to see how the Bush family would handle that, and if he appears at the convention. I feel bad for Jeb.
