[h=1]With eye on 2016, Jeb Bush resigns from all boards[/h]Former Florida governor Jeb Bush, moving closer to a possible presidential run, has resigned all of his corporate and nonprofit board memberships, including with his own education foundation, his office said late Wednesday night.
He also resigned as a paid adviser to a for-profit education company that sells online courses to public university students in exchange for a share of their tuition payments.
Bush’s New Year’s Eve disclosure, coming in an e-mail from an aide to The Washington Post, culminated a string of moves he has made in recent days to shed business interests that have enriched him since leaving office in 2007. The aide said the resignations had been made “effective today.”

Really? Another Bush, possibly another Clinton? What has happened to this great nation? Is this the best out of all the people in this country we can do? Or are we just subjects to a ruling class elite who could give a **** about you or me?
Sad reality is, there are those cheering for these royals and thier race for power.

At least for now, Jeb Bush has the lead for the GOP nomination. Of course, it's early and much can change between now and the start of the primary process.

Jeb Bush should have been in prison for large scale electoral tampering for the last fourteen years. You want to really talk about election fraud? Jeb Bush is the face of that crime.
Why are you judging Jeb Bush on his family contacts?
I thought guilt by association was not allowed after 2008.
Your message is a lie - and a lie the media is pushing like crazy.
Romney pulls twice the numbers of Bush. But the media wants a Bush-Clinton contest - as the left can't lose either way and Bush as a candidate helps Clinton.
BUT Bush's people are pushing him like crazy - got the money and inside contacts to do so - and the SHEEPLE go right along with it.
THE FACT IS THAT JEB BUSH is NOT #1 in polls that consider all potential candidates. He is a distance second place to Romney.
My post is the latest CNN poll and that is the most recent poll that has been taken. Moreover, some of Bush's rise in the polls may well be on account of his having taken a big step toward seeking office. Governor Romney, should he make a similar move, might also benefit from taking such a step. In any case, the link is available and the numbers are what they are. We'll see what other polls say in coming weeks and whether Bush is able to sustain the edge the CNN poll shows. My guess is that unless Bush is highly visible on a sustained basis, some of the margin in the CNN poll will narrow.
As also noted in my post, much can change between now and the start of the primary season. Whether Governor Romney runs again is also uncertain at this point in time. If he does, I also suspect that he would have perhaps the strongest chance of winning the nomination, but that's speculative at this point in time.
Jeb Bush has plenty of guilt on his own. A large share of his wealth came by stealing from the government, ie taking loans, pocketing the money and then making a deal to repay 10 cents on the dollars. He is heavily into the "Miami mafia" and many of his business associates have been convicted of racketeering, fraud, real estate scams and criminal ponzy schemes. He is as corrupt as it gets.

he could be the perfect guy for the job, however, something needs to be said about the nepotism plaguing the office and politics.
what makes you think this bush will be any different?
How would it be nepotism? is he getting the job from a relative?
You should know what I mean.
Almost two years out from election day and the complaints about the last name and so-called monarchies are getting pretty ****ing old.
I should know what YOU mean? How would I know that unless you say what you mean?
I take it you support a pool of a few families having turns as president?
It seems we can do better.
Membership in a prominent family should be neither a qualification nor a disqualification.
