I know its likely that most in this forum have advanced computer skills to get their own software, but anyways I'll try starting with a real basic program that I've used for a few years. I've downloaded many many free programs that I use regularly. Wisdom takes any size picture of anything on your computer screen. I use this on my computers that are before windows 7 (windows xp). Windows 7 has a snippet tool. With any free software, you have to try to check as carefully as possible to find out if the source of the software is a trusted site. And, you have to be carefull during the installation process do avoid adding toolbars etc. Most free software will try to get you to include some junk. You can always remove it, but it can be difficult. If I can't avoid it, i look elseware for the program I'm looking for.

Wisdom takes a picture of anything on your computer screen and saves it as a picture. Really useful to put in your posts here, e-mail, or even save info.
