Wisconsin will have mail in voting!!!

Good. If it's good enough for Trump, it's good enough for me.

It shouldn't really have been that tough of a decision, there's no reason to not do mail-in ballots, particularly in middle of a global pandemic.

CO has an excellent system for voting that allows for all of our ballots, local, state, and federal to be mail-in.

Wisconsin is a swing state. Looks like Wisconsin is going for Joe Biden now.

There's a lot more democrats than republicans. The theory is that if voting is made easier, democrats are more likely to vote.

Biden is up by 9 in the 2 most recent polls in Wisconsin. Biden will probably win Wisconsin, but not because of mail in voting. With the changes in demographics, age wise, mail in voting might actually be a help to Trump.

"Which Party Would Benefit Most From Voting by Mail? It's Complicated."

Which Party Would Benefit Most From Voting by Mail? It'''s Complicated.

The bottom line is mail in voting might not help nor hurt either side. Conventional wisdom of a decade ago no longer applies today. Wouldn't it be a hoot if the side pushing mail in voting, the Democrats, mail in voting actually hurts them more than the side which seems totally against it, the Republicans.

Now, illegal aliens will be able to easily vote in Wisconsin, too.

It's a great day!

Well, I guess you guys need all the help you can get since your candidate probably shouldn't even be a dog catcher, much less a POTUS.

Unanimous means three republicans voted for it.

It is three republicans, and three Democrats...

So? That doesn't mean the Wisconsin GOP won't sue.

Reality check minus the fake news on isle 6!

"Absentee ballots remain the largest source of potential voter fraud," read the conclusion of a bipartisan 2005 report authored by the Commission on Federal Election Reform, which was chaired by former President Jimmy Carter and former Secretary of State James Baker"

Vote by mail is not the problem...though vote by mail certainly has problems. The problem was the ballot harvesting the democrats have been using in places like California. Coupled with the undeniable fact that the entire rat party is corrupt and has demonstrated their willingness to fabricate lies and sham impeachment processes...anything to subvert the actual democratic process, and you get a feel for why the democrats promotion of mail in ballots is suspect.

Allowing vote by mail is a common practice...but no one should pretend there arent significant problems with the process. 25-35% of the votes sent in by mail never see the light of day, and up to 10% of the ballots that are accepted are often discarded for technical reasons.

Link?

I'm betting that this has to do with who counts the votes rather than who votes.

Has Wisconsin cleaned up their voter rolls?
Or will dead people's vote count as well?

The funny thing is that the idea of mail in voting helping democrats exclusively isn't even necessarily true. The older generation (ie the ones most likely to vote and the ones that vote frequently for republicans) were the most likely to utilize mail-in voting in California's most recent special election. Newsom sent out pre-stamped ballots and by the time voting was closed, approximately 10k more mail in votes Garcia were received than for his Democrat competitor. I think the dems are far too confident about what mail-in ballots would result in, but I also think the repubs are far too concerned about the harm that may be done, when in fact it may help them.

There is zero evidence that there has ever been massive numbers of illegals voting.

There is zero evidence that there has ever been large scale mail in voting fraud.

And btw 25% of the votes cast in 2016 were mail in votes.
