Of course it would... Especially if Obama was the guest speaker... that would make it a political event, and worthy of protesting. Haven't you been pating attention?
It shouldn't matter who the speaker is. There are plenty of opportunities to protest the speaker. Other than to be a douchebag there is no reason to protest the special Olympics event or a graduation. Those events are about the participants of the Special Olympics and graduation.
I didn't claim to be an expert or a superior, we are in a debate group... Debating history is a common area of debate in this context. I see the parallels and think they are obvious. You want to debate or you want to flame and get infraction?
and why do YOU get to decide what he could or could not... should or should not have done? Oh, that's right. You don't.
Thankfully.

It is amazing to watch liberals twist like pretzels to lay the blame on Walker. Or that the special kids weren't "bothered", because from where the poster sits in Mom's basement on their keyboards, it is clear to them that it was really no big deal.
This action was sick because liberalism is sick. A mental disorder. Be the victim, or if not, then blame the victim. What a joke.

Fine. But don't pretend this is colonial times, and then think you have any standing what-so-ever to predict how I would react. Speak for yourself. When you start the nonsense of speaking for others, then don't whine if we take issue with it.
Capiche ?
Your bigotry and hate is noted. I think you're the one suffering from a mental issue....
Did you did you not support the protesters during the Boston Tea Party? They were accused of much worse than offending some people such as these unions, and there were lawsuits over the damaged property... lol.
We see film of students, and of some old people holding signs. We have the statement of the SO organiser that they were not disrupted, and we have the bigoted rednecks on the right berating these dreadful "assaults" on the mentally handicapped by accusing unidentified unions, using nasty pejoratives related to mental handicap. Classy.
Behold the typical liberal fall-back to ad-hominem.
That is your "A" game.

I get to decide such things on the same grounds that you decide the unions shouldn't have exercised their rights, and shut their mouths in order to avoid offending you... lol
While the organizer assuredly does not want it to be a continuing issue, especially in WI, where property vandalism and threats of a "blind eye" are common where a political difference exists .... we still have the video of stupid idiots disrupting a special day for the Special Olympians.
As Groucho Marx said: "Who are you going to believe ? Me, or your lying eyes?"
And the libs go "doo-dah-doo .... doo .... doo-dah-doo"
Protest organizers disavow Special Olympics demonstration - JSOnlineRachel Grant, a spokeswoman for the Special Olympics, said officials were nervous when the zombie protesters first arrived, but they turned out to be peaceful.
"We were all a little bit on edge, but it turned out for the best," Grant said. "Nothing was disruptive at all."
Kelly Kloepping, another Special Olympics official, said the protesters were respectful and did not diminish the excitement the Special Olympians felt about being in Madison to meet Walker and other leaders.
"We feel it's really about the athletes," Kloepping said. "We knew the protesters were there, but they were respectful of our athletes."
Ever heard of security guards??.. Thats why most places have elevated stages like at this event....

Do you guys even know what Special Olympics are? Give ya a hint, they're similar to a big event with a similar name held every four years around the globe. They're typically held in a stadium AND they are definitely NOT held on Capitol building steps.
NO ONE crashed, interrupted or protested the Special Olympics.
I think the showed plenty of respect. They came and left didnt say a word.
could not see the governor...who was there for a photo op, a little good press.....hmmmmmmm....you are mad at the protestors because you don't like the message, but are you ok with the governor using the special olympics as a platform for a quick photo op, a way to generate a little good press for himself?
He is a politician, who has been under fire for months, who is going to be recalled, who badly needs some good publicity....common sense man, common sense, and politicians of all stripes do this..it is like shaking hands and kissing babys while you campaign...trying to make yourself look good.
Do you know anybody was offended other than you, or are you just getting your talking points from Rush?
