Probably the first time this has happened in Trump's life, and the MSM is taking notes.
Trump grilled by dean of Wisconsin conservative talk radio - Yahoo News
Trump is not at all new to dealing with rough customers....the only thing here is what did he know when he agreed to do the show? He claims that he did not know how hostile this guy was going to be, which would mean that his prep team let him down. I am leaning towards believing that Trump knew what he was going to get, and did not want to look like he is so desperate to win WI that he would do it anyways, so he lied about not knowing.
It was a very fascinating interview. THis is going to be a fun week for us political watchers. Not at all sure how it is going to work out for Trump but according to some polls he has a chance of winning in the heartland of the R elite. Keep in mind that the national R elite saved Walkers ass, so there might be more loyalty towards the elite from the little people in WI than anywhere else. For sure the plan is to turn this hoped for loyalty into an embarrassingly large loss for Trump. To complicate matters more than a few think that Ryan wants to be the save the day guy in Cleveland, so working towards that has to be tempting for some.
I thought he did fine.
Drumph got owned, and he was reduced to sputtering his gibberish at the end.
But, you are in the cult, you can't listen to that rationally.
Hilarious.
Trump was not destroyed.
The interviewer is a Cruz supporter, so the only think on display here was his arrogance and bias.
Retweeting the following is nothing he has to apologize for.

No he did not, Sykes was not very civil and I wonder how that goes over with Wisconsinites who were raised on the 11th amendment and I think still support it. Sykes loves to do the angry white man routine ranting against the welfare bums, democrats, college kids, and anyone who is causing his tight chum Walker problems, but it might not work here against the presumptive R nominee. It might not be seen as fitting. Or it might not matter, the Milwaukee journal seems to have decided that this was just Sykes being Sykes...lets look and see if they change their minds tomorrow because of how much air this story got nationally today. I kinda doubt it.
In other news there is a well founded rumor that Ryan is for sure going to get hit with a primary challenge either from the right or from the new Trump wing of the party, cant tell yet.
Tell you what, things are getting fun now!
Love IT

You legitimately believe that re-tweet doesn't even deserve an apology? Not only is he directly (as opposed to falsely being linked because the Super PAC hates Trump and therefore must have been directed by Cruz) attacking a candidate's wife, but he is basing the attack purely on the physical appearances of both his wife and his opponent's wife. Not their intellect. Not their level of honesty. Not their character or a history for good deeds. Just their appearance.
I find that to be a very interesting assessment. Do you have any particular quote from his interview or point in the interview where his demeanor seemed uncivil? After all, he kept repeating a desire to merely get Trump to apologize and to act in a civil manner while in Wisconsin?
Bullying the person you are speaking to is an uncivil act in standard conversation. To make matter worse in this case it is the views of Trump that matter, not the views of Sykes. If he wants his views to matter he should run for President.
He has a talk radio show. Obviously, Sykes' opinions are kinda the entire point of your own radio show.
And I completely disagree that he treated Trump with disrespect. He asked him tough questions and then followed up. That's not being uncivil to a guest, that's acting like a journalist who has one shot at engaging in the interview.
Depends on the nature of the person with the show. So I notice you want to have it both ways, he is a bloviator and he is a journalist. He cant be both so make up your mind.

One of the (many reasons) Fox's main talking heads are simply unwatchable. Hannity and Olietome are so incredibly rude to their guests. I realize righties think Maddow is a partisan hack, but at least she is the epitome of polite.

by making up excuses for trump's failures, you simply show that trump supporters are just as bad as trump himself.
