Will you ever forgive the republicans for what they are doing?

As if Trumpism is not bad enough, now thwy are trying to install Trump against the will of the people, both the popular vote and the electoral vote.

In so doing they have "poisoned" million of dumb Americans who no longer trust our institutions, the same ones that are traditionally respected across the globe.

The harm will last generations.

Will you ever consider voting for any republican at at any level again?

They have done nothing that needs forgiveness, unless you think standing up for law and order is a crime (and I'm sure you do) and freedom of association is punishable by law.

I will continue voting for Republicans as long as I continue to vote.

I don't think or evaluate in terms of 'forgiveness', but rather I deal with practical reality. Our most immediate need is to peel-off a sliver of Republicans in order to keep them from attaining an electoral plurality in the next electoral cycle. That is priority #1.

But remember, nothing remains the same. At one time Democrats were the Deep South party of segregation & racism. Therefore, I don't vote 'party'. I vote the 'situation'. I vote to satisfy the moment's needs. Consequently, I recently rejoined the Democratic Party after an absence of many years. But, that is (as always) subject to change predicated upon the situation.

No time for forgivingness nor do I care about it. Too busy trying to mitigate the staggering number of dichotomies that infect the GOP. They ultimately become power mad if they achieve any power at all.....see Mitchie-poo, DonDon and Newt the Elf for examples. Yet they are beyond gutless to the point of absurdity. Why would you ever vote for these clowns.

They are willing to toss off every single policy initiative or tenet of either Republicanism or Conservatism at the drop of a hat though they will speak with great conviction about them all the way up until they don't.

Either they clear their ranks of these charlatans or I will dedicate what remains of my life to clearing them from the political landscape. Don't think I am alone in that. No time for people willing to betray the Republic to save themselves from .........A TWEET. Good God give me a break.

I have distrusted both major parties for a very long time. I look on each with disdain as each only tries to do what their base wants while ignoring every other American. their base makes up approximately 30%, so whichever party is in party, they play to around 30% of America while ignoring or going against the remaining 70%. Both major parties hold a monopoly on our electoral system, so each can afford to tell the other 70% to go to Hades. Especially when on average 45% of Americans don't even both to vote in presidential elections. 60% in midterms. Why, it makes no difference, each party will do what each party wants while ignoring them.

As for trust, it's been declining for a very long time.

Unless either or both major parties can come up with an American agenda instead of a republican or democratic one leaving out the majority of Americans, trust will continue to decline. But why would either one want to do that? They have the monopoly that gives Americans no other choice.
 
The difference between the two major parties is pretty thin. I will give anybody that point. However for all the ranting about "Socialism, Socialism, Socialism" from the GOP about DEMs' its not the DEM's that are actively trying to overthrow the Republic. Its the GOP that is all in for that one. So that should be a pretty obvious line in the sand and distinction between the two major parties. It is surely my line in the sand, one that I have been musing about as well within the GOP's capability to cross for a long time now. Nice to be right now and again.

Then again we can talk about the Qanon wing of the GOP claiming that all DEM's are blood gulping pedophiles and white slavers using PIZZA PARLORs as their cover. The Qanon wing of the GOP should be scary enough if dedication to overthrowing the Republic is not scary enough for you.
