Will USS Liberty Survivors Get a Call for New Investigation by Rep. Omar, of Israeli Attack?


Until identity is verified.

The Israelis and the US agreed to an exclusion zone where no American shipping would be present.

The USS Liberty was inside that zone.

I have a regard for the truth. That is why I learned BEFORE posting. Unlike you who has gone off on incorrect and illogical tangents.

Even when you get something right you refuse to learn from it.

It is you that has no regard for the truth.

Every piece of evidence in this case points to a belief this was an Egyptian ship followed by confusion as to the identity and finally the recognition that it was American and not Egyptian.

And once it was ID as American the attacks were stopped and Israel took complete responsibility for the attack and compensation payed.


And yes. I am a zealot for facts.


ETA - Perhaps it is better you ignore me. You tend to get triggered when you get fact-slapped. And it has happened plenty in this thread.

Practice reading comprehension before responding to avoid looking like an idiot.

I said the crew members would not have known what Israel did or did not think before the incident, therefore they wouldn’t know what happened, meaning the cause of the incident. Of course they know what they saw/experienced, duh.

Imperfect as you believe the report to be, the people involved in investigating the incident had a great deal more information regarding the cause and sequences of the incident than any sailor onboard LIBERTY. That was my point.

The lawyers of the dead members and surviving member families were not made privy to a lot of information?

You’re having a real problem with reading comprehension. For the third time, I’m saying that at the time of the incident onboard LIBERTY, crew members did not know why what was happening was happening.

You’ve already made clear in your last post that you don’t trust the report, and now you’re suggesting that surviving members and their families were made privy to information contained in the report you don’t trust.

Earlier in this thread you said that you have talked with crew members, but after reading your posts it’s clear to me (retired USN also) that you’re full of ****. You did a little reading, made up a story with yourself in it and now you’re trying to peddle your fiction.

One must remember, that the truth must be hidden, from Americans.... they too might realise the USS Liberty, the bay of Tonkin, the twin towers, the assassination of JFK, building seven, the pentagon, and a 747 flew through a seven foot window, leaving the next window, intact, aye.... lets remember the death of American, Freedom Liberty and Equality..... your not entitled to any of your forefathers demands......!

A deliberate attack, on Americans, but an attempt by Israel to start WW3, Russia made it clear, they would support Syria..... just as they do today.
Just as the American Wesley Clark stated seven countries in five years...... for and on behalf of those who own the American sovereignty, its military, secret services and Americas sons, and who's thieving fingers are all over American tax payers money.

Our leaders at the top allowed the Liberty to be shot to hell and the sailors killed. Then demanded the survivors stay silent.

Fighter aircraft were launched to defend the Liberty but they were called back.

They apologized for it as an accident, right? OP's theory seems plausible and deserving of investigation. If he's right, it doesn't mean Israel can't remain an ally. It just means the truth comes out, if that is the truth, much as we know Britain lied to us to get us into, IIRC, WWI. No doubt they'd even scapegoat a local commander for the decision.

And they were quite happy to spy on the US as well as passing on military secrets to China. Some 'ally'.
