In 2016, he was a newbie.
He had to rely on a lot of experienced people.........................and, he didn't know many of them that well.
Many of them, though with good credentials, had exploited his inexperience and tried to steer him away from his goal.
The last term was spent dealing with so many oppositions, some coming not only from the DEMOCRATS.
This time, 2024 - he's experienced.
He might even have experienced the most ugly side of politics in history!
But - he's been made all the more, wiser. Politics-wise.
He's apparently surrounding himself with like-minded individuals this time around - sharing the same core vision for America.
He's surrounding himself with people who want to PUT AMERICA FIRST!
That's why he ended up choosing JD VANCE as his VP...................... despite the nasty things Vance had said about him.
Because, Vance share the same vision (which Vance had realized when he saw Trump doing his job as President).
That he'd decided to overlook the slight and insults heaped upon him by Vance - in my view - I see that Trump is putting what he thinks is best for America ahead of himself.
When he said AMERICA FIRST - he is walking the talk!
He'll walk the talk when he starts doing what he said he'll be doing.
I think we can bank on that.
In 2016, Trump won 306 seats while Clinton won 232.
This time, 2024 - Trump has 312 while Harris got 226.
A SOLID, DECISIVE LANDSLIDE Electoral votes!
In 2016, He didn't have the popular vote.
This time, 2024 - he has the popular vote.
Now - he can clearly say he has the mandate of the people.
The people had voted for his electoral policies.
With the Senate, and most likely the House becoming Republican,
Trump can go full steam ahead in implementing his promises.
.........................and he'll be buoyed by the Supreme Court ruling on IMMUNITY.
Since this will be his last term, I expect to see an even more energized Trump, to speed up things he want to do!
And I believe he wants to heal the nation, and unite the people.
He'll want to leave a lasting legacy......................... and an impression of him, quite contrary to what the Democrats had painted him to be.
I heard it in his victory speech.
