Why the silence on Vegas?

Almost 6 months later and we still know as much as we did the day after. Before you just attack the source and dismiss it, I challenge you to read it with an open mind as many valid questions are asked.

So here are my “Top 20” nagging questions, inconsistencies and theories about the Vegas Massacre…
#1) RAMBO.
How did an overweight, out of shape, 60-year old, anonymous guy (on no one’s radar) with no military training and no military or law enforcement history become Rambo overnight? He carried out this plot with no help? Got hundreds of pounds of weapons to his room? He broke open a hurricane-strength 800- pound window? Set up sniper-type guns? Pulled off worst mass shooting in America’s history with no training, no help? Even though the one over-riding theme of every survivor/witness I’ve spoken to, or heard from is…they saw or heard multiple shooters. Yet the FBI and Vegas police immediately discounted this theory. Why?
 

The casino and the hospitality interests own Las Vegas. The last thing they want is a law suit opening up the underbelly of what goes on with what in hotels.

They let this guy collect an arsenal and build a fort in a hotel room and no one even asked a question. Hell, if had a fully armed tank the valet would have parked it no questions asked. D'oh!

What goes on in Vegas...

Vegas has at least 3 video cameras per person visiting that city. They know all. But, you need a blanket of subpoenas to have access to any one of those MPG files.
 

This is certainly the biggest media blackout of my lifetime.

To complicate matters, there are some issues with privacy and "ownership" of a rented room and what rights staff does and does not have when it comes to entry beyond housekeeping. They can do a "welfare check" after two days of a "Do not Disturb" sign. So he did interact enough that a welfare check was not needed. "Housekeepers" saw nothing suspicious. Really. Maybe every guest builds an armory and a fort in the Mandalay Hotel. I mean, why not?

Silence? Not that long ago, problems were solved by digging a hole and putting your problem in it. I suspect a slowly shrinking witness list. Big gambling operations don't like to lose money on the square, let alone in a court room. They could be afraid of a whole slew of new reg's that will open up cases of cans of worms.

I suggest we ask Jack Reacher to look into it.
 
You, and your link, are ignoring the obvious. Vegas is totally dependent on tourism, gambling and vice which includes not putting "what goes on in Vegas" surveillance videos into the hands of police, or possibly worse, the press. Good security is not only expensive it is very intrusive - not what folks intent on gambling and/or "partying" want. The less that is said about it by all then the faster that a terror event (regardless of its motive) is forgotten.

It is simply in nobody's interest, in Vegas, to not write this off as a once in a lifetime and unexplainable event. What mass shooting? Oh, that crazy loner guy that killed himself? Not much to worry about and highly unlikely to ever happen again.

Some people just snapped or maybe he had it in him all along but never acted or otherwise gave many signals.

He either shot it out or he used a drill and beat the rest of the window with a hammer.

Gunfire in an urban setting is a weird thing. Even combat soldiers can get confused as to where the fire is coming from and how many are shooting at them.

Yet the FBI and Vegas police immediately discounted this theory. Why?

Because there isn't much to support this theory.
 

Maybe it is not clear, but that is C&Ped from the link. My personal thoughts? I have serious doubts this guy acted alone. The more they maintain silence on this, the questions people will have. Like the timelines not matching up.

I guess I am "saying" this thread is absolutely in the correct sub-forum.
 
You dont have go any further than the photos of the man dead on the carpet to know that at the very least, someone staged his body. Im not saying he wasnt the catalyst or even the shooter...but there are a whole lot of things with this whole thing that dont add up.
 
He broke out 2 hurrican proof windows rated at 800 pounds...with a hammer. Start there. He literally had to bash the opening out with the hammer. We arent talking about windows that shatter...we are talking about windows that had to be broken out requiring multiple swings from the hammer (the hammer was a short handled sledge...looks to be a 5 pound sledge). It would have taken time, effort, made a hell of a racket...AND...the windows were about 30 feet apart. So what...no one on the ground felt anything? Heard anything? No one in the hotel heard anything?
