I honestly have no clue what you're talking about.

The reality is simply that if incels are "starved for sex", they could have sex with each other, just like men in prisons do.

So, what's stopping them from relieving some of that frustration?

I personally wouldn't, because same-sex relations aren't what I'm attracted to, and I've never considered myself someone who's "starved for sex" or heavily interested specifically in sex. But, again, if an incel is as desperate as they claim to be, what's preventing them?

If incels are as desperate for sex as they claim to be, what's stopping them from paying for it? There are legal brothels in Nevada, for example. Maybe some of them refuse to work and don't even have the money to pay for it, but I don't think that would be the case with everyone who claims to be sexless and unhappy about it.

Hell, there are plenty of examples of financially successful people paying for it, such as sugar daddies.

Woman on average set a higher bar than men, on average. That creates a subclass of men who lack the social skills to seduce even the most desperate woman. 99% appears to be lack of trying because of the assumed outcome, or self sabotage by going into an interaction with the idea of the negative outcome, thereby causing it.

Most male on male prison sex isn't about the sex. It's about power and control. Incels are not trying to assert power over other male, at least not in that manner. Further, you are correct in that they have a sense of entitlement that they are owed sex for simply being male. Sexual frustration isn't limited to incels, but incels are the ones that whine about it because they think it is their due. Ironically, they have a double standard in that they think women shouldn't be choosey, but they get to be choosey all they want.

So, in other words. The issue is one of having overly high standards, or refusing to change themselves in anyway (while expecting women to lower their standards just for them). It's not really an issue of simply being "starved for sex".

You're going to have to explain why an incel would be so obsessed with "attracting a woman" that he'd rather die a virgin than have sex with another incel.

I've seen social media posts by incels saying that they are so desperate for sex that they wish they could have sex with their own mother. I'd have personally rather died a virgin than do that, but if they are really sex starved to that degree, then having sex with other incels would solve the problem. For that matter, self-castration would solve the problem.

So this makes me think that the issue isn't purely about "sex", but rather abnormal psychology.

Depends on one's ability to adapt. In the absence of sufficient females in the population, some species switch sexes in order to continue reproducing. Humans are now developing relationships with chat bots, so it looks like nature is sorting us out. Once we can get chat bot powered sex dolls, incels will likely become a thing of the past.
