Why do conversations about trans people turn into discussions of kids genitals? (Almost always boys genitals)

Full disclosure this is a serious thread and a serious issue. I'm not pointing fingers in anyone's directions but it's something that dawned on me the other day.

In one of my classes we were discussing using people's pronouns and gender identity. This went on for about 45 minutes until someone brought up young boys genitals as a reason they shouldn't be allowed near girls if parents aren't around. The class then proceed to spend the next hour or so on this discussion. This discussion was had by a classroom of 95% cis-people and 5% trans. For those curious, I don't talk about trans issues in front of cis people because I've had a supervisor at my work openly talk about he is a "biological male" because he has a penis (in front of children no less). It dawned on me that this isn't the first time that I've seen this. For years this has been a reoccurring issue. It seems whenever discussions about trans people pop up, people inevitably start discussing kids' genitals like they deserve to know what they are. mean here is Mike Huckabee talking about how he would do very bad things to girls as a teenage boy:

While I'm sure there are trans people who talk about kids genitals, at least in my personal experience it always starts with cis people talking about kids and their genitals. Does anyone else see this happening?

It's because they're setting up kids for quite a disappointing life.

Sex a big part of relationships in a relationships are big part of life and if you're completely ostracized from those because you had a thought when you were a kid and people overreacted then it's kind of messed up.

I'm not watching John Oliver pontificate about this that guy's a ****ing idiot.

This is exactly what I mean. You said "sex", like what? The sexual reproductive system or do you mean just the genitals?

Could it be because that a typical birth takes place and the sex of the child is determined by their sex organs? There are men and women, boys and girls and then what ever else the left deems there is. Then number is without end because the left is nuts.

Except it's not sex organs persay but just the genitals. This is what I mean. It's cis people talking about baby's genitals like they're the only sex organs they use to determine gender. And even then that's not what I'm talking about. I'm not talking about a baby's genitals. I'm talking about a 5,6,7,8 etc year old's genitals being openly discussed by cisgender adults. I'm pretty intuned with trans people and their discussions on gender. I can't recall a time when they bring up kids genitals. But cisgender discussions on gender? Pretty much all the time.

How is that happening? Did someone tell you that transgender people cant have sex? They lied to you.
Sex a big part of relationships in a relationships are big part of life and if you're completely ostracized from those because you had a thought when you were a kid and people overreacted then it's kind of messed up.

This makes zero sense.

I can't trust anything you say. First if you don't care button surgery and you're a boy who grow up to be a man and it's going to make it very narrow who wants we be with you. If you do get the bottom surgery it's not fooling everyone.
This makes zero sense.
I don't expect you to think any other way.

All of the above.

Why is it okay to do this to kids?

So you mean you're talking about the whole reproductive system... by basing it off of genitals? Isn't that a little too reductive?

This is incoherent word salad.
I don't expect you to think any other way.
See above.

Let's open this up. Why are you so fascinated with a trangender person's genitals? Like trans people talk about genitals in an affirming way and how it connects to personal choice. But whenever cisgender people do talk about transgender genital's its always with fascination and awe. Nobody asks you to show your genitals to use the bathroom. So why do cisgender people feel the need to ask and know about transgender genitals?

Let's open this up. Why are you so fascinated with a trangender person's genitals?
Why do you have to frame it this way? Why is the only argument with anybody can ever make against us accusing someone else of such interests

It's an attempt to suggest perversion to trick me into defending myself

It's a dishonest tactic.

This is more of the same dishonest tactic.

Not sure what your talking about here

Is it some stupid shit John Oliver said that doesn't really happen because he does that a lot.

The externals pretty match the internals, save the rare cases.
Should we run ultrasounds on all and say 'I think it's a girl'?

I just had X-ray and ultrasound of my dog done yesterday. Can't confirm..
But she is female. They confirmed that.

You're the one who is interested in the quality of life trans people have because of their genitals and how it limits sex as you made very clear already:

"Sex a big part of relationships in a relationships are big part of life and if you're completely ostracized from those because you had a thought when you were a kid and people overreacted then it's kind of messed up. "

I'm asking about I'm being genuinely curious. I don't understand why cisgender people want to know what's in a transgender (almost always woman) person's pants. It's creepy and borderline stalkerish. To say nothing of children's genitals being openly discussed.

This is more of the same dishonest tactic.

Did you notice when I said that I had a supervisor openly talk about his penis in front of children? Or the other parts of the OP? That's why. Just genuine curiosity. Not attacking anyone. Just want to know why cis people are so fascinated with trans people's genitals.

Except it's not how we use sex. Imagine a baby boy. What clothes is the baby in? Is it a dress or is it a t-shirt and pants? We don't use genitals to distinguish sex. We use gender expression instead to figure out what's going on down there. But even then that's still the point. Why are cisgender people so fascinated with telling other people what genitals their child has? I don't know how else to describe it. Maybe a comic will help?

lol.

Trans people be having mad sex. And being trans doesn’t even mean you have body dysphoria regarding your genitals. A lot of trans women have zero issue having a penis. I sure don’t care about mine.

But the first thing 90% of people ask a trans women when they find out she is trans is if she had her “dick cut off”. Like, why are you asking? Do you want to see it?

No I'm interested in the quality of life of abuse survivors. Children parents and doctors lie to about being able to transition.

I didn't trust that you are being genuinely curious you suggested some sort of interest in genitals. If you were just being curious you wouldn't feel the need.

If you want to discuss something change your tactic.

You'd have to ask the people interested in it

Timely, I just had a discussion with a friend/coworker on a job 2 days ago who's 22 year old daughter recently revealed that she and Sam are in a relationship.
It's Samantha, that thinks she is Sam. He is trying to understand it.

lol.

Then you aren't really trans you're a femboy. Embrace it.
A lot of trans women have zero issue having a penis. I sure don’t care about mine.
That's not a trans woman that sort of person is a cross dresser or a femboy
But the first thing 90% of people ask a trans women when they find out she is trans is if she had her “dick cut off”. Like, why are you asking? Do you want to see it?
To find out if they are trans or a femboy

Oh my gosh but like the sex be sooooo good! I don't know about you but my sex life is amazing and I think it's better than most of the sex I hear cisgender people talk about.

You realize there have been multiple laws passed in several states that make it illegal to use a bathroom that doesn’t match your sex right?

How does one confirm that quickly to enforce it I might ask? Are we going to hand out free DNA swabs outside so you can demand people that look suspicious give some spit?

No I'm interested in the quality of life of abuse survivors. Children parents and doctors lie to about being able to transition.

Except the medical community knows how to respond to transgender kids. And if we're talking about kids, like 5,6,7... then there's no need to talk about genitals at all. Why do genitals matter before the start of puberty? It doesn't make any sense.

I didn't trust that you are being genuinely curious you suggested some sort of interest in genitals. If you were just being curious you wouldn't feel the need.

If you want to discuss something change your tactic.

You'd have to ask the people interested in it

Well you responded so I did.

Why do you think the cisgender people want to see and talk about chilren's genitals when it comes to trans related issues? I am very curious to see what you think.
