I know he talked about "the wall" but there were already 12+ million illegal migrants living and working in America. Why didn't trump try to deport them?

He couldn't. He was opposed by the courts and the interests.

I'd say because he knew it wouldn't be cool to bounce people we've already allowed in. I think that is why he wanted to get the wall up. To keep illegal immigration from continuing.

- For the same reason most of the illegals, who were arrested on dairy farms by ICE in 2019, were back at work within three days.

- For the same reason that, despite GOP rhetoric about illegals, most farmers across America, who hire illegals, still routinely vote Republican.

- For the same reason that, under Trump, all real talk of reform into bad immigration laws was absent while they defaulted to "the wall" as a distraction from that.

It's all rhetorical BS, meant to excite the conservative base into a blind loyalty for whatever Republicans do in their name. And for years, that has mostly all been entirely about right-wing agendas that have nothing to do with the rhetoric.

Republicans are notorious for whining about illegals and insisting that their absence would simply make life bearable. But underneath this emotional BS, they absolutely know that illegals are contributors on Republican farms and within Republican-donating corporations. Aside from farming, many small businesses, who vote Republican for tax purposes, also hire illegals. So, Republicans get away with whining about illegals while getting away with really doing nothing about it.

But hey, Trump sucks, "build a wall!" Duped to the very end.

The President of the United States can enforce the laws, no?
?? Why is Biden trying not to enforce our current immigration laws?
His administration sent guidance to border patrol/immigration telling them that.
Also they are removing all the blocks the Trump administration put in place to try
and slow the bum rush of our Southern border.
Biden wants open border and free healthcare for all illegal aliens! Why?

Only to the extent that congress critters provide funding to do so. That funding limitation guarantees that mass (aka significant) deportations of “undocumented” immigrants remains mission impossible. Between those who see immigration (legal or not) as helpful to keeping US labor costs down and/or those who see immigration (legal or not) as helping to accelerate favorable demographic changes there are not enough other congress critters left to push for adequate interior immigration law enforcement funding.

nonsense

Nonsense.

When Biden and the DNC start to address the broken immigration laws that Bush and Obama are both on record for pointing out, and the GOP resort to simply opposing it, perhaps you will start to see what has really been going on in your name.

For four years, Trump merely exacerbated bad laws and told you to ignore the absence of reform legislation by focusing on a stupid, impractical wall. Congratulations on your nonsensical partisan loyalty.
