Let's admit it, if it was a white kid in a polo shirt and Sperry Topsiders that call would never have been made.

Regardless of how it happened, if I shot somebody in the middle of a Multi-family residential area, not knowing who witnessed what, I'd damn sure call 911.

What if the same incident occurred in a zero populated warehouse district and the chances of a witness were slim to none?

ANSWER: He didn't call 911... He called the Sanford Police departments direct, non-emergency line.

Actually, he called a line set up specifically for their neighborhood watch program per Sanford PD investigation files and FBI files.
