seriously? there are no non biased links. Can someone provide me a non-bias link to a document or inform me in a non biased honest way the answer? I never paid attention to the reason why we went to war and now, embarassingly, I'd like to know why. I'm not here to debate, just to get honest answers.
These moves weaken Islam and its contiguity, and thus were excellent moves when one admits the real enemy, you know, who attacked us and why, Muslims, for Jihad.
Nothing weakens Islam as long as we Muslims walk on this earth and keep faith. Only Muslims can damage Islam, never can a outsider do it.

is there an official government document that highlights the reasons?Whose motive are you looking for? Bush's? Mine?
we did not believe that, imo. i didn't anyway, because he was NOT involved. as for bush's daddy motive, i have no clue.it was we belived that their leader was involved with 9/11 it may also have been that bush wanted to finish were his father left off I dont know if that was bias or not
Imagine people carpeted Morocco to Indonesia with nukes, and rounded up and shot muslims in all other countries. I think that'd damage Islam.
Silly. We could nuke your black rock 40 minutes from now.
Everyone finishing the fifth pillar goes home with a lethal dose of radiation.
Q.E.D. Islam can be damaged from the outside, and if it doesn't reform, it will be.
i have no problems with self interest and self protection. the fact is, iraq was no threat to us.Afghanistan was not enough payback to the Muslim world, so we went back and knocked over the last Muslim Leader to shake his fist at us, who had already given us ample casus belli with his ceasefire violations, while geographically dividing Iran from its proxies in Gaza and Lebanon.

Doesn't matter.
As long as one Muslim lives, Islam will survive and continue on.
Nothing can damage Allah's words.
And if you kill that last Muslim?
i have no problems with self interest and self protection. the fact is, iraq was no threat to us.
and i also have no interest in weakening islam, only marginalizing radical muslims who wage unprovoked war.
The Qu'ran will live on and someone will convert eventually.
But the chances of finding and killing 1 billion Muslims is small to say the least
A unified caliphate is never going to happen. Too many political differences.Iraq is between Iran and the proxies they use to make war on our ally Israel.
A unified caliphate IS a threat to us, and controlling the area between the Iranians and Mecca prevents a unified caliphate.
Don't buy the "radical" part, there is only Dar al Harb and Dar al Islam.

I'm not saying it will ever happen, or that it should. But it's possible. Nuclear winter, anyone?

I'm a complete newbie, and I just wanted to understand the war. I really didn't want this to turn into 'radical muslim' this and 'daddy's war' that. There must be some official documents highlighting the reasons for war. Maybe those are the reasons, but I'd just like to know what the 'official' reason is.

If you want official documented reasons, look up Saddam's litany of ceasefire violations. Undeniable Casus Belli.
