Why did God choose to be a man? He clearly isn't a man, since gender is a biological and social construct.

I would argue that God is transgender. He has the capacity to exist as either gender, both genders, or no gender, but has made a conscious choice to be a man. Good for He/Him.

A case could be made that transgender people are truly in God's image.
 
The topic of god's penis is remarkably absent from the bible, unfortunately. It's presence can be inferred by other text, but like how Superman could impregnate Lois Lane, some things will forever remain a mystery.
 
Along those lines, god created trans people. Who are any of us to violate god’s will?

No, God is not transgender and not female. He never has and never will exist as a woman.

If words confuse you, consult a dictionary. Gender = the male sex or the female sex, especially when considered with reference to social and cultural differences rather than biological ones, or one of a range of other identities that do not correspond to established ideas of male and female.

Biological sex = the biological trait that determines whether a sexually reproducing organism produces male or female gametes.

i was starting to understand transgender and how we can be 72 or more genders, then this comes up.

now i don't know what to and i don't think @Logician Man or the atheists are toooo willing to help us much.


well blessings Daisy, it has been 12 days of war, and now Orange king has brought 'Peace on Earth and good will to man'. did i get this right? again so confusing like this Gender thing that no one is helping us with today.

Most of the trans arguments are based on the failure to distinguish gender from bio sex. A trans man is a biological female whose gender identity aligns with men. A trans woman is a biological male whose gender identity aligns with women. The difference between biological sex and gender is a difficult concept for some to understand or accept. Understanding the difference is important to keep conversations from devolving into ideological arguments defending stringent beliefs or principles.

Why are you turning the question into bulls? Why did god CHOOSE to be a male? You know the all powerful entity that so many 'worship' for some crazy reason or other.

Biology isn't a construct. It is a science. It is objective. There is nothing subjective about it. Within biology there are sexes and they are also not constructs.

That case would be a strange social construct and most people would not care to listen to or even humor it. People forget that the world SOCIAL in social construct involves SOCIETY and thus you need their agency and input. If they withhold it then imposing it on them means you are the authoritarian.

God is Masculine. He didn't choose to be masculine. He is. I did answer the question becasue the question is wrong from the start. It is why I said, 'God is'.

No, God is non-binary. This is a huge problem for Jesus who dislikes how the Bible treats him to be male. He said fixing this is one of the things he’s most looking forward to in Bible 2.0.
 
The real question is why didn't Moses choose to make his new monotheistic god female. And there is probably a very good historic reason for that choice if you look at where Moses' little band of renegade slaves came from.
